This was a great little find for us! We went here for our first time recently! Walking in, it feels like an old school family pizza joint with big comfortable booths and friendly service. The pizza is definitely leaning towards New Haven Style, without being quite as charred. I ordered basil on my pizza and asked for as much extra basil as they could put on it. Places rarely do so when I ask, but Grand Apizza came through! My boyfriend had a pizza with sausage, and he loved it!...read full review

Best pizza around, talk about New Haven style pizza, better than most pizza places in New Haven, the only thing that was wrong is that they only take cash wich is wierd in todays debit world. If I don't have the cash I go right by because I don't want to be charged five bucks at there atm.

Great pizza is only the start. Every item on the menu is terrific and prices are really good Service is friendly and fast, couldn't ask for better. We've been coming here for years and rarely miss a week, either dine in or take home it can't be beat
