Since living in the area from 2019, I hadn't come across any Indian restaurants until I saw the sign for Curry Queen. I thought Indian food would be only something I could get in larger New England cities. I was wrong. This food tasted great and I'll be back.”

I came in and asked if they had an item which was no longer on the menu and explained my circumstances, and Cory was happy to make it for me and charge me appropriately. excellent food, fantastic service, proved once again that they're worth a dedicated trip from vermont.”

“Had the special - Chicken Cordon bleu… didn’t expect anything amazing but it was amazing. Surprisingly, but beautifully, crispy on the outside with a slight sweet flavor. Chicken was perfectly cooked, not dry, with appropriate proportions of cheese/ham. Service was extraordinarily friendly. Topped it off with a nice Port wine and they had a decent selection available. Will be back.”

“I had some business to attend to in the area and didn't want to stay in a mediocre motel. The James Pharmacy was absolutely perfect! Monica was our liaison, and she was absolutely fabulous. Everything we needed was tended to. The rooms are beautiful. The restaurant downstairs, everything you would want. It is well appointed, clean, and quiet. The only thing I would warn is that the stairs are pretty treacherous. It would be very difficult if you have mobility her balance issues. I would 100% recommend people stay here.”

“33 Years in the same place, same staff, they must be doing something right, Great prices on excellent food. I've read the reviews from people that have given it 1 star. These must be people that can only accept 5 star service, and everything else is 1 star. I understand some of the things you complained about, and maybe you did have a valid point, but 1 star, and to imply that the waitress was suffering from dementia, come on, grow up. If you made reasonable criticisms, and rated fairly, people would take you seriously, but you just make yourselves look mean and vindictive. All over an undercooked omelette, etc.”

She was very attentive & friendly, making our meal even more enjoyable. The meal was a bit delayed getting to us & without a word from us, Manager Tony came & topped off my wine. “I'm a coffee fanatic, grinding my own beans for my home pour-overs every day. And I like a light roast—dark roasts feel like Red Bull in comparison, harsh and exaggerated, masking the subtlety of the individual bean flavors. As fanatics do, I researched light roasts, and found out that most first-crack light-roast fanatics recommend the Norwegians, like Tim Wendelboe or Solber & Hansen, so I tried them, despite the international shipping costs. And you know what? They're not as good as Zoe's light roasts. What a treasure to have a roasting genius just across the bridge.”

“The only Dunkin I will go to 1635 Boston post rd old saybrook. There is a girl who works there goes by the name of Katie/kate/Kaitlyn she has great customer skills. Always greets us with a smile. She makes us laugh. She is very nice. Always makes sure our order is right. Whatever you do give this girl a raise. It is so hard to find someone who has that much friendly customer service”

“What a find! Authentic delicious home cooked Vietnamese food at reasonable prices. Lovely husband and wife owners, hubby cooks. They live upstairs from the restaurant — cute place — nice vibe.”

“I went to have a quick bite with my husband last night and while we sat to eat, a man with no money walked in. The owner immediately walked over to him, greeted him with utmost respect, made him a footlong sandwich and meal, free of charge, and treated him in a way that made us both tear up and realize there are good people in this world who have a heart of gold. The owner is a couple who treats their customers like friends and family, but this action made me respect them 100 times more. God bless you. We come in from out of state once a month to visit our kids and always stop to eat here because of their warm customer service.”

“Pros: Prompt and quick service, burger had extra hot sauce when asked, and it’s a damn good burger. Cajun fries slap.Cons: Lazily done Cajun fries; I’m not sure why this seems to be an issue of late, but the fries had an extremely disappointing low amount of seasoning across some stores. Maybe next time, because i'll still come back for these things. The fact is, is the FG Cajun fries are an S tier fry experience - right up there with McDonalds. But when not seasoned - they turn into a C tier experience.”
