“Mid week dinner so it was quiet. Our server, also the bartender, was great with my granddaughter and the food was delicious. We could have split the seafood risotto, but we were happy to have leftovers!”
“Food was surprisingly good. Better than expected. High quality, nice presentation. Had corned beef sandwich (real corned beef, not lunch meat) and fish tacos. Large cookie was also excellent. Will be back.”
“Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in Connecticut! The French onion soup was AMAZING—the combo of caramelized onions + crispy onions was ? plus the gruyère!The duck was melt in your mouth tender with an incredible pepper crust, seared to perfection. The crispy polenta cake was also done really well. The swiss chard + pancetta added a nice, zingy contrast. For dessert, I had the turtle cake which was fluffy & moist with caramel + candied pecans.Big kudos to the chef & kitchen staff! My server was also very kind & knowledgeable. The manager graciously sat me at a lovely table even though I was a solo diner.I left my phone at the hotel, otherwise I’d share pics!”
“It's like $12 for a full plate of perfect rice, chicken that falls off the bone, amazing sauce, expertly cooked plantains, and tasty beans. Great deal, great folks, great place to stop!Parking: Free parking but the lot is small and shared. Exiting can be quite challenging”
“Amazing Mexican food!! I've been to this place 7 times, getting the steak burrito 6 of those times since its so good. The chips and salsa is exceptional. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the Guacamole, it's very similar to the guacamole you would find at supermarkets. I would definitely recommend getting different things on the menu each time you go. Today I tried the steak Areapas which were fantastic. It had rice and beans, a small salad, cornmeal cake topped with streak with a special sauce on top and Pico de Gallo to put on the salad. The cornmeal cake tasted homemade and also it had this small sweetness to it which added to the flavor.”
“Nestled across the street from a venerable shoreline favorite, the Turtle Cafe is another absolute gem. Chef Ricky and Mariah, who was at the counter, were extremely welcoming and make for great conversation. The menu is vast and all of the food was amazing. I had eggs Benny with a side of hash, I highly recommend this place.”
“WBP is a go-to for easy pickup on my way home from work for me. All of the ladies who work the front do a great job & the food never disappoints! I’ve tried pretty much everything, but my favorite is the chicken club grinder. The overall aesthetic is clean(!), fun & eye catching. They have slices of pizza readily available, a salad bar & soft serve ice cream. Definitely recommend!Dietary restrictions: GF pizza dough available”

“Pictured is their spaghetti seafood pasta. Overall there was a lot of seafood however very minimal spaghetti. Food was good same with the fresh bread that was given. Servers were nice. No clue why this place was literally empty when we went.”
“We got the peach and blueberry pancakes- delicious! Everyone enjoyed what they offered. Find it strange they only offer bottles of Poland spring for purchase for water and no free tap water, though.”
“Other burger places great place until you have a burger from Leon’s. The burgers are way cheaper and taste so much better than anywhere else I have tried. You never had a burger unless you have been to Leon’”
“I just stopped at this subway to grab a tuna foot-long, and John recommended the roast beef, so I went with it… Great guy, and a fantastic foot-long sandwich. Very happy I stopped here and listened to his recommendation… Thank you.He even cut them in half for me, which I didn’t ask for, but I think it’s great.”
“Clean friendly and delicious! What great find for a late night dinner with kids. Met the owner who is clearly devoted to the operation. First time eating hot DQ food too!”
“Love this spot. It gives Cape Cod vibes on the coast of CT--truly quintessential New England. It's majorly clean with plenty of seating inside and out. Beer options are plentiful and the IPAs (my favorite) were phenomenal and may be one of the best I've tried in a long time. They have the beautiful color down-- I knew before tasting it was going to be lovely. The food menu is plentiful and there are plenty of options for all tastes. This is the perfect stop after the beach or really any time. I'll be back again and again and can't wait to come here in the warmer months.”
