“Love this spot. It gives Cape Cod vibes on the coast of CT--truly quintessential New England. It's majorly clean with plenty of seating inside and out. Beer options are plentiful and the IPAs (my favorite) were phenomenal and may be one of the best I've tried in a long time. They have the beautiful color down-- I knew before tasting it was going to be lovely. The food menu is plentiful and there are plenty of options for all tastes. This is the perfect stop after the beach or really any time. I'll be back again and again and can't wait to come here in the warmer months.”

“A gem in this pretty town! Ordered white clam pizza and cheese pizza. Pizza's crust was thin and fragrant. Both pizzas were fantastic. Cheese pizza was not too salty and tasted just perfect. White clam pizza was just so good too. Staff were also friendly and setting was very casual. Hope to be back!”

“It's not Ichiran, but the Tonkotsu ramen honestly comes quite close (for me). For the middle of Connecticut where there's a major lack of good choices of ramen, this place hits the spot. “What an amazing experience. I first want to thank the bartender Dylan for welcoming us and allowing our night to be the most special experience. We started drinks off and they were really delicious. The food came out in a timely manner and I love how the kitchen is in the same room as you. I ordered the egg toast with caviar and the short rib. My boyfriend got the waygu steak, he said it was the best steak he's ever had. I tried a piece he's not wrong! The bar seats are so comfy and I loved being able to enjoy a fancy dinner. The desserts were very rich. Thank you The Essex!”

“I am not from this area, but I stumbled upon this little coffee shop in my travels. I was warmly greeted, and they took my order immediately (this was 11am so not a rush hour for a coffee shop) and they made me one of the best lattes I've ever had. Had great flavor, and was nice and hot. About the same price point as Starbucks, but worth every penny to support a local shop. I would recommend a stop here!”

“Cozy brunch of delectable, artfully plated French-inspired egg-related dishes, served piping hot by friendly and efficient staff. Good portion size and fair prices. We perused the French cuisine items for sale along the walls after eating. Also bought pastries and bread fresh from the OUTSTANDING bakery at the heart of the offerings. A Francophile's paradise! “This is one of my parents favorite restaurants, when they come to visit us in Clinton. We were disappointed the past few times we have visited, with the food quality (seemed to have gone downhill in recent years). This being said, were extremely impressed on our visit last weekend. It seems that there were a few new dishes on the menu, and the classic french fare was re-imagined with attention to quality and flavor.This said, the service though extremely professional and courteous was a little slow. It took a while for what appeared to be the one server working to make her way to all the tables. It was busy for a Sunday afternoon! This said the young lady who served us made us feel very welcome and did her best to take care of us, and ultimately was extremely gracious.We love sitting on next to the windows overlooking the vineyard. You really can't beat that backdrop, and we love the intimate setting of the bistro.We look forward to returning soon!”

“My brother in law arranged for our family to gather here for lunch after gathering at Hammonsett in rememberance of the first anniversary of his wife, my sister's passing.We were not rushed in any way. The staff was very attentive, and my clam chowder was fantastic. We were all very satisfied with our lunches.”

“Really wonderful brewery in a beautiful area of Connecticut. We were here a couple of weeks ago on a very hot and humid day and had our dogs with us. Myrcene Brewery is dog friendly and allows the dogs to hang out inside (as long as they are well behaved). It was such a great oasis from the heat. Great beer (I took some home) and the atmosphere and the staff could not have been nicer. They have games too!”

“First, I don't normally like chocolate flourless cake. It tends to be dense and dry so not worth the calories. But this ...this cake...is everything. It's smooth and silky...unless you're allergic, you have to eat this. Your mouth will thank you! The cheesecake is light and whippy, and not too sweet, and the fruit are fresh and happy just sitting there on top with powdered sugar. You must eat have it!!”

The only reason it is not 5 stars is cause a Chimichanga should be fried. I don't think it was. Other than that, amazing!”

“Overall good experience.Appetizer was crispy duck wings which were delicious and perfectly cooked.For the mains I got the poke and my girlfriend, the veggie burger w/ truffle w/ fries. The poke included fresh tuna and the rice was cooked perfectly, however in my opinion the sauce was too tomatoey flavored and overpowered the rest of the dish. The veggie burger tasted good but would benefit from the patty being a little crispier.Had the warm chocolate chip cookie w/ ice cream for desert which was lovely.Overall good experience and would go back.
