Based on the reviews, The Side Door Jazz Club is a fantastic intimate venue for jazz. This small and communicative venue offers a fantastic musical experience where world-class jazz artists perform. The setting is intimate, warm, and inviting with red walls, low lighting, and a spot-lit stage, making guests feel transported back to the 60s. The acoustics are incredible, with every note crystal clear and soulful. It is a very intimate setting with no bad seats, and the experience is unforgettable. The service, food, and atmosphere are second to none. A negative is that the venue needs more servers for drink and food orders, so it is recommended to order during the first half of the show and settle up during the intermission break. The staff are very friendly and the entire place is very clean and well kept. The jazz lounge is lively with great acoustics. The owner of the restaurant came over to greet guests, a lovely gesture. The Side Door Jazz Club is by far one of the best clubs on the East Coast, run with heart and passion for great music and great hospitality.
