Honestly originally came here thinking it was a typical tavern. Left having one of the best food experiences I have ever had! The food was amazing and so perfectly prepared I have been back countless times since and am always recommending them to friends and family. Definitely need to fit in a date night here really soon!!!
We had a lovely meal tonight at RT. Food delicious, wine excellent. Has definitely made a comeback from several years ago. The only blemish was the service provided by the young man, ? Jonathan’s nephew; he dropped plates with a bang, never said a word and looked very unhappy. He doesn’t need to entertain but the plate dropping is unnecessary.
I have been visiting Chester since this restaurant was “Robbie’s Malt Shop” and try to eat here each time. This has become a new tradition now for me and my son who is 14 and this is our second year coming together as he is old enough to appreciate it. RT never disappoints, the staff is too notch and take such good care of you, you genuinely don’t have to ask for anything.
