Best lobster roll spot in CT. I go every time I’m in the area
Good grilled, buttered lobster rolls, well filled with good size chunks of buttered lobster.

I’ve always loved the vibe of this place. After living in Clinton for 13 years, it’s one of the spots I consistently recommend to friends and visitors. Unfortunately, my last visit was a letdown. I ordered the Lobster Bisque to go, and when I got home, I was excited to dig in—only to find there was barely any lobster in it. No chunks or noticeable pieces, just tiny traces. It was really disappointing, especially given how much I usually enjoy their food on past visits. This was the first time getting the Bisque. I still want to recommend this place, but now a bit weary of maybe suggesting another place.
I've been a Connecticut native for decades but never tried the infamous Lobster roll. I went by reviews and this place had amazing reviews so I decided to try the lobster roll for the very first time at this place. And I must say I was not disappointed!! The lobster was so tender and not overpowering with flavor. The flavor was subtle and JUST RIGHT! The bun that it came in was so soft, warm and also had amazing flavor. I needed to add NOTHING to this little taste of heaven in my mouth. The staff was also very friendly, welcoming and professional. Would I go back to this place again?? You darn tootin' I would!!! Two thumbs up!!! 👍🏽👍🏽

Took my retired aunt from Florida(Mass.native) for a lobster roll because this place was very highly rated. Parking was small and messed up. The one woman in the front asked everyone for their names and not ours mind you we had three separate orders, I said do you need my name she said sure, when I told her what my names was, she said “I can’t say or spell that” not joking or kidding like mean. This place was super over priced for the service and the lobster was chewy and under seasoned, bun soggy the clam chowder was all potato and clam smell. Very disappointing meal and embarrassing for me ended up going to the food trucks at the outlets to eat more because we stayed hungry. FYI no fries or sides.
