My son Noah and I arrived at Lobster Landing just before Noon. We were both hungry and ready to eat lobster so we ordered and reviewed:
1. Lobster Roll (4oz) w/o a side $29.00ea 👍🏾
2. Lobster Bisque $9.95 👎🏾
I started with the Lobster roll and it was different opening up a lobster roll that is wrapped in foil. The lobster meat is really fresh because it is steamed and cleaned right on site. The lobster meat was delicious but I really wasn't fond of the toasted roll but since the meat was good it just barely earned a thumbs 👍🏾
The Lobster roll certainly did not live up to the hype as the #2 Best Lobster Roll in the State of CT.
I moved onto the Lobster bisque and although it had a few pieces of lobster meat in it I really didn't like the taste at all. There is something missing in that bisque so it earned a thumbs 👎🏾.
Lobster landing serves a decent lobster roll but the Lobster Bisque was wack and I honestly wouldn't make another special trip because there are far better spots in the region that serve better Lobster Rolls and Lobster Bisque. I am certainly not telling you that you shouldn't visit, I am just saying that I think that this spot is overrated and mid at best.😎

Had lobster rolls and coleslaw. My wife and I both felt ill within minutes of leaving. Don’t know which it was but we had to pull over and wait for a good while before we could continue. The 3 PortaPotties by their open back door should have been a red flag, I guess… Definitely not recommended!
Parking: Small, tight lot. Not all patrons park considerately.

We stumbled upon this on the drive back to Delaware and we were not disappointed! I feel like I had my first REAL lobster roll. It was hot, savory, and fresh. The bisque and chowder were to die for. The staff were all friendly and kind to us. As busy as they were they kept the line moving. It was the perfect place and I will be back.
Kid-friendliness: Our 6 year old had fun collecting shark teeth while we waited for our food. She loved seeing the boats.

My husband & I were let down by 2 highly rated restaurants for their "lobster rolls" in Mystic Conn. So, on way home from Mystic vacation we stopped here, based on reviews. We shared our negative experiences with staff, who were lovely & wanted to please us. Lobster roll was better than ones we had in Mystic, however, nothing memorable. Liked that lobster meat was cut up, & not large chunks. Lobster was tender, but lacked flavor. Roll was not typical lobster roll bread, this was a hot dog roll. Lobster meat lacked flavor. Needed salt & pepper, & a wedge of ? would have been a nice touch. Tables outside. Unpretentious lobster shack. Lobster roll served wrapped in a piece of foil, not even a paper plate. $29 + tax per roll. Not worth the price! Not even a bag of chips, or side of coleslaw. That's low! Even though former rolls weren't earth shaking, & a few dollars less, we got a bag of chips, & small coleslaw. After New England seafood, Maine wins hands-down!!

I gave 3 stars due to the fact that first my roll was not grilled it was soggy and secondly the lobster was very small pieces not what I'm use to..
You can sit by the water, and eat lobster,clams.. what ever else you want.. great little spot to stop by and relax. Beautiful there.

My first time visiting this establishment and was anticipating a yummy toasted lobster roll. Arrived mid-afternoon and there was a fast moving line of customers waiting to place their orders. Service was very courteous and efficient and our lobster was delivered to our outside table before I was able sit down. Oh my, that first bite was so delicious and savory. No question about it, this was by far the most incredible lobster roll ever! New England shoreline atmosphere enhanced this experience. I will certainly return Lobster Landing again and highly recommend it to all.

Clam chowder was amazing. Lobster roll was good but not amazing. Based on them being considered the best lobster roll in CT, I expected it to have more flavor. The lobster was cooked perfectly, though. The staff were so friendly!

Ever since the business was sold/changed hands a few years ago, quality and service have gone very downhill. No longer the best lobster roll in CT… no longer in the top 10.
Last few times going it’s just chopped up cheap tasting lobster meat, gone are the days of getting full claws on your roll.

This was a very small roll without much taste. Very disappointed. Small pieces of lobster and quite greasy. Never ever going back!
