Came here for lunch with my 10 yo daughter. The food was good and filling, and the area is very pretty. Itsy a cozy spot and it was cool to eat in a historic location.

Favorite stopping point after a bike ride and swim. Love Lisa’s and their service.

It started out great. Waitress took our drink order, brought them and took our food order. She was very pleasant. Somebody else brought our meals to the table, which is perfectly fine…rather have someone else do it than the food get cold. Luckily, the food was good because nobody ever came back. We had to get our own containers to bring our leftovers home (they were behind us which helped). We originally wanted dessert, but literally nobody checked on us. Another staff member was in the area, so we finally asked her for our check. I then had to go to the front to find my card and receipt. Yes, there were other customers, but the place wasn’t full. Maybe 1/2. Anyway, we hadn’t been in several years, so kinda disappointing.

In all the years I have been dining out this is the first time I ever walked out of a restaurant before ever being served. After waiting an hour, and being told that the small kitchen could not handle the volume we surveyed the half empty dining room and decided that it wasn’t worth the wait. This is the second time we have had a problem with the service at this establishment and we prefer not to return. That is unfortunate because if I recall correctly, years ago the food had been quite good.

Living down the street, were here at least a few times a month. The food is fantastic, drinks are tasty, and service is terrific! I'd highly recommend for anyone that appreciates historical landmarks and/or good food and drink!

Great space full of character. I was expecting more of a bar with some tables to eat, but it’s more of a restaurant with a very cool, secluded, and cozy bar area. The service was great and the cowboy burger was delicious, I love that they use English muffins as the bun. Also the hand cut fries were an unexpected treat!

EASILY one of the best crispy chicken sandwiches I’ve had!

We went for our regular (Ruben on butter toasted bread, also fantastic!!) but decided to give the chicken sandwich a try. Delish!!

The service as great, thanks Kristen!! We sat outside close to the trail so atmosphere 10/10. BTW, they have plenty of high chairs for kids. We used 2.

Last but not least, the brownie sundae and Apple pie crisp with Vanilla ice cream both really hit the spot. Very fitting for this beautiful September fall day!

Highly recommend if you’re in the area. I’m happy to have such a well run local business in our community!

We’ll see you next time!!

My first time here with family for an early dinner out on the patio. We enjoyed live music and a relaxed vibe! Appetizers were great and more than enough to share! We will definitely be back!

RICH DISCOVERIES

Staff was very friendly and inviting. Beautiful historic building as well.
Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon for a drink and some wings, was really quiet.
Definitely recommend if in the area, wings were good after a day of walking around looking at other historical buildings in the area ?
