EASILY one of the best crispy chicken sandwiches I’ve had!

We went for our regular (Ruben on butter toasted bread, also fantastic!!) but decided to give the chicken sandwich a try. Delish!!

The service as great, thanks Kristen!! We sat outside close to the trail so atmosphere 10/10. BTW, they have plenty of high chairs for kids. We used 2.

Last but not least, the brownie sundae and Apple pie crisp with Vanilla ice cream both really hit the spot. Very fitting for this beautiful September fall day!

Highly recommend if you’re in the area. I’m happy to have such a well run local business in our community!

We’ll see you next time!!

My first time here with family for an early dinner out on the patio. We enjoyed live music and a relaxed vibe! Appetizers were great and more than enough to share! We will definitely be back!

RICH DISCOVERIES

Staff was very friendly and inviting. Beautiful historic building as well.
Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon for a drink and some wings, was really quiet.
Definitely recommend if in the area, wings were good after a day of walking around looking at other historical buildings in the area ?

Good selection of food and great atmosphere. Small but cozy bar with great bartenders. And plenty of parking in the center of historic Collinsville.

Ordered the "Lisa's Club" sandwich. Wasn't a club; two pieces of white bread with a few pieces of dried chicken, lettuce and tomato. Over-salted side cole slaw. Go somewhere else if you want a good sandwich!

Takeout review:

We were in the area for Music on Main and brought our family from out of town. There was a takeout window and menu on the wall. The wait for food was about 20 minutes. We had a large party: 4 adults and 4 kids, 8 total. We wanted to sit outside but there were no tables for large parties which was fine. The place was busy. I like the historic building; inside looked pretty rustic and vintage. We found a bench nearby to accommodate all of us.

I had the Vermonter sandwich with fries; the sandwich had Vermont cheddar, sliced apples, bacon, sliced honey turkey breast, and dijonaisse. This was good except I wasn't a fan of the warm/soggy apple slices; I prefer the apple slices crisp. The fries were good. I also had a margarita which was done nicely. The weather and live music was enjoyable; located across the street. Overall, we had a good experience and food was good pub food and drinks were tasty.

While I will say the wait is a long time, the quality of the food made up for that!

Our server was fantastic, attentive, and personable.

When you go, make sure you have plenty of time for dinner. Plenty.

Also, if going late in the evening, expect a relaxed relationship with closing time. When they close early, you can always head to Grindstone. The C&H staff go there after closing.

Vegetarian options: One veggie burger (mixed veg patty, not black bean or Impossible)
