Great owners, great wine. Highly recommend
love it
Lovely place and the new owners are super sweet and passionate about wine. I’m excited to see what they will do for the vineyard in the future!
doesn’t even deserve a star, me and my family were supposed to host a suprise party there for one of our family members and the owners cancelled 2 days prior, completely leaving us in the dust, made racist comments towards us, and were very rude in person and even more rude on the phone. we weren’t anything but nice, never going here again and not recommending it to anyone.
This winery has a dry dominant selection with a primarily single varietal selection. Pretty and secluded property and knowledgeable owner who leads the tasting. Not for those who have a sweet palate.
Beautiful place on the wine trail. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Large wine selection with a lot of fruity variations. Recommend the STRAWBERRY rhubarb wine
Very scenic location! Great service and nice wine selection. Also good beer selection (cans).
I’m not one to review poorly, especially as a fellow local business owner, but after the altercation that was just had with the owner Walt, I feel like I have no other choice. The amount of unprofessionalism and rudeness that came out of this man was absolutely unacceptable. I inquired about hosting a baby shower at this winery (online it says they host all showers/unique events with a capacity of 250 people) so I figured my guest list of 80-100 people would be acceptable. After playing phone tag for several days, Walt decided to a scream on the phone denying that this is his website and he refused to host us. Mind you, the event inquiry form (that he responded to) and his contact information are immediately below this information. Believe the reviews you read on here!!!! Incredibly disheartening to be treated this way.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the building is gorgeous :-) The wine is delicious and they even have selections of beer for the hubbies :-) You can bring some food and enjoy your wine. Also, if you are lucky, you can get to meet their Blue Heeler mascot with the softest fur and adorable little personality. The owners are great people and real salt-of-the-Earth types. Also, the wines are superb and he has a great talent for vinting. I need to go back for the Strawberry Rhubarb wine soon, the bluberry was great with a nice tartness to it... you can't go wrong.

We almost didn’t go because it was raining and I am so glad we did! The place was beautiful, even on a rainy day. We decided to do the wine tasting and loved every minute of it. We got Nancy all to ourselves and she was amazing! She patiently answered all of our questions (and there were many) and we enjoyed such great conversation. I would recommend this place 10/10. Can’t wait to go back.

Owners are extremely knowledgeable and are some of the nicest people I have ever met. The vineyards are managed with a holistic mindset with focus on using ecology rather than chemistry for control and growth. The wine selection gives a very Connecticut feel and the selection of wines can fit every palette and season. Highly recommended.
Parking: Parking is perfect for a smaller winery with hay / grass fields for larger groups.
Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is accessible.
What a true gem of New England. Their wine is delicious and they are very friendly and accommodating.
Delicious wine! Knowledge and kind owners and staff! Beautiful scenery! All around Fantastic place to go!!!
The grounds are lovely and the workers were super nice and knowledgeable. I felt the wines had more of a homemade taste to it; I think they could use improvement in flavor but I did enjoy my time there.
My husband and I absolutely LOVE this winery. The owners are very nice people. The live music is always great and the wine is out of this world! It’s a shame that some folks who have visited here have given bad reviews for their lack of understanding signs and also lack of respect for the vineyards lively hood. Just know that damage to vines can cause a 7 year lack of production. NOT RIGHT! now to end on a good note….. Thank you heartstone for the great wine and amazing atmosphere! We WILL be returning…..
