Update 2025: The menu still isn’t visible for people in line, depending on how long the line is (there is one taped up on one post). The food was mediocre and there were still children running unsupervised-this time between the tables of diners. Someone showed up (what seemed to be a paid musician) and started playing really loud music on a guitar. I would have rather listened to the parents yelling at their kids. 2019: THE MENU HAS TO BE VISIBLE TO CUSTOMERS IN LINE and currently it is not. When it was our turn to order the employee stared at us and didn't say anything. I ordered a scallop po boy & my husband got the moose burger - both meals were cooked poorly & didn't have good flavors. Small children were climbing on the only yard game available, not actually playing the game, and no parent or employee managed the situation. If the food had been good, nothing else would have mattered.

I feel compelled to share my experience at this restaurant today. 😊
My husband and I visited for the first time and were unfamiliar with the menu. We both wanted burgers, but I asked if they had a Meximelt-like burger. They had no idea what it was, but they were very willing to make it if I described it to them. It’s basically a burger with bread, cheese, grilled onions, and of course, a burger patty. You then assemble it like a grilled cheese!
To our delight, they made an excellent Meximelt! The service was amazing, and the restaurant was very clean. Everyone was friendly, and they even had live entertainment music. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will definitely be returning!

Brought one of my teenage grandkids here for lunch on a Friday. Neither of us had been before and we were both pleasantly surprised. Good ordering experience, comfortable outdoor seating on a patio with a roof and overhead fans. Although it was a hot day we were very comfortable. The wait wasn’t long and our order was exactly as expected. Food was yummy! We would definitely go again given the opportunity.

Our first time here, but it won't be our last.
We had a hot lobster roll, a pulled pork sandwich and the Moose Bull Dog (without the jalapenos), fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings and coleslaw...then of course ice cream for dessert.
My first impression of the place was how clean everything was and how friendly the staff was! Very nice, warm welcome. Our food was fantastic, all of it. And yes, the fries are really good...nice and crispy. Lots of meat on the lobster roll and pulled pork sandwich. And my husband was pleased to find out they serve Hosmer Mountain soda.
It was a beautiful evening and we got to enjoy music by Rick Lovallo while we ate (all outdoor seating). The music was very enjoyable and enhanced our experience. A very eclectic mix of folks enjoying the food and music with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and will definitely be back!
Plenty of parking and outdoor seating. It appears there is more to explore, but we were content to sit, eat and enjoy the music.
