If there is one place in Connecticut you visit, it has to be the Greenwich Historical Society! The grounds are absolutely stunning and a walk through the gardens will lift your spirits. The tour of the Bush-Holley House is NOT to be missed because not only will you walk straight into history but also learn a lot about the Bush family's role in the revolution and the Holley family's role in shaping an impressive art legacy. The Greenwich Historical Society and Bush-Holley House are truly hidden treasures that deserve far more attention. The beautifully preserved grounds and exhibits bring local history to life in such an engaging, accessible way. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate — you can feel their genuine enthusiasm for sharing Greenwich’s rich past.
