We attended an absolutely charming wedding brunch in the barn of the Historical Society. The grounds are beautiful and the space was cozy and perfect for the occasion. The staff was pleasant and worked hard to make the meal tasty and welcoming.
We had a lovely tour here. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately preserved. We learned a lot about Connecticut and the people who used to live in there. Lots of beautiful art work.

The Historical Society is such a cute little hub in Cos Cob- I love the mini farmer's market on Wednesdays in warmer months, and there are always fun and interesting events going on. The gift shop is an absolute gem, I've found so many great gifts and beautiful items there. It's a perfect place to get some Christmas shopping done (with free gift wrapping!), but they have really nice inventory year round! Everyone who works there is always incredibly nice and informative, too.
