Much better since Lakeview again. Friendly atmosphere. Food is good. Prices are bit high. Not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worse. Nice view of the lake. Worth trying

A completely disorganized mess! We had a reservation for dinner at 6pm. I recieved a text and an email confirmation. When we arrived we were told that they don't pay attention to the reservations. Wait, what!? The people who came in immediately behind us also had a reservation, they also recieved a confirmation, they were also told that the restaurant doesn't actually abide by reservations. We were told to just find an open table -- no one seated us, we waited 20 minutes for menus and another 20 minutes for drinks. After 45 minutes someone came over and informed us that the restaurant was "overloaded" and all food orders were being put on hold. TWO HOURS later... our food arrived... and it was cold!
The waitresses tried their best. But there was clearly no leadership, management or established processes. On top of it all, they had an old guy playing guitar and singing -- he was terrible and his amp volume was loud. He made an already horrible experience 100x worse. Save yourself the aggravation and just don't go.

Unable to give a food review because my 6pm reservation was not able to be honored and we had to leave. Along with at least 10 other groups with 6pm reservations, we had to find someone to “seat” us to be told they were unable to seat us for 20 min but then couldn’t promise we would be done in 90or so minutes. We were invited to wait at the bar. However, No one took our names until I found a seasoned waitress(?) and asked, she then did so. And while at the bar, other parties sitting around us we served but although I asked for the cocktail menu was never then asked for my order. But after 20 minutes there was still no one being seated so we had to leave. The woman who took our names said they were understaffed and had some new people. But then why take all these reservations, and knowing it’s family weekend so crowds should be expected. We have 3 more years at least to come to Stores and will never come back.

Got take out. Asked for a tip over the phone?. Shrimp tacos looked thrown in, with cheap fake cheese on boiled shrimp with coleslaw from a plastic tub. Doesn't take long to make a presentation especially during a slow lunch time..

Came in with a reservation. Sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order while the 2 tables next to us, who sat down after us, received their drinks and apps before anyone came to take our drink order. Waited a few more minutes before we left without anyone coming to take our order and only being brought cups of piss warm water.

Wait staff was friendly and accommodating, food was delicious. Two complaints: the lobster roll had the tiniest bit of lobster on it. Also, the woman smoking a cigarette on the deck. Looked like a patron, not employee - but was shocked in 2024 to be eating at a restaurant and smell cigarette smoke a few tables away. Not sure if this is an all the time thing, or if they do always permit cigarette smoking - but multiple wait staff walked past and did not tell her to stop. About a foot away from being under the big tent over the deck.
Vegetarian options: Willing to accommodate removing meat from certain dishes I.e. the pasta. Vegetarian apps, nice salad options, and some vegetarian entrees.

This restaurant has a beautiful view and a nice location. The food was pretty good and the service was average. If you are looking for a nice place to eat outdoors on a beautiful day I would recommend it. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here on a cold blustery day.

We moved to the neighborhood last year and have been curious to try this place because it looked like a lovely location.
The good: The atmosphere is great! We ate outside on the patio and the view of the lake on a warm summer night is beautiful. The inside of the restaurant looked very nice too, and the staff was friendly and service was good and fairly quick.
The not-so-good: It saddens me to say it, but the food was not great unfortunately. It’s not that there was anything “wrong” (it was served hot, nothing was spoiled), but the actual quality of it was very subpar, like the sort of low-grade bulk frozen food you’d get from a restaurant supply store, and there wasn’t much flavor to anything. Then in addition, the pricing (especially for the entrees) is akin to what you’d see at a fairly high-end restaurant, which doesn’t align with the food’s quality.
With this said, unfortunately the only way we could see ourselves returning would be to have drinks on the patio with friends, just for the relaxing ambience. But we wouldn’t be returning to have dinner. It’s a shame, because it truly is a beautiful location, but the food just doesn’t do it any justice. I hope the owners consider rethinking their sourcing — we certainly live in a region that’s plentiful with farming, so there’s not a great excuse to be using things like off-brand bulk shredded yellow cheese and charging $28+ a plate for it.
