We’ve given the location many tries over the years. The food is inconsistent and the service is slow. The patio has a lot of potential but needs work. There was a great opportunity when 4 Dads brought better food and great live music, but it didn’t stick. This place could easily compete for the Bidwell market share if they brought in more live bands and improved the food just a bit.

My honey and I saw this restaurant on a Facebook reel advertising their pumpkin lattes and thought it would be a great date night idea. The atmosphere was beautiful. The waitress was kind. We ordered 2 virgin pumpkin spice lattes and 2 small desserts (one strawberry shortcake and one pistachio cake). We tried the strawberry shortcake and it didn’t have any taste. We apologized to the waitress for not eating it, but we were honest about why. She then apologized and said “that is a new one that we’re trying out. I know it’s fresh because it got delivered a week ago. Let me go ask my manager if we can take it off the bill”. She then came back and said “I’m sorry, my manager won’t take it off the bill”. We weren’t trying to get it taken off the bill, but she did pitch the idea, and then the manager supposedly saying they wouldn’t take it off seemed like bad customer service. The manager could have at least come over and spoken to us, maybe they could have offered something else? Also, for the 2 virgin lattes and the 2 small cakes, it came to $67 and change. It seemed like an outrageous price for these items. It was very beautiful, but overall not the best experience and bad management.

I order fish and chips and my husband scallops, came back really oily, we complained with the waiter and she said sorry, but she can’t do anything about it, the other couple with us have a bad experience with the food also. Don’t waste your money coming here

overall, the experience was not good at all. I waited over two hours just to eat. after I asked for something not to be on my dish, it ended up being on my dish. The waitress came back to me with a very rude response when I said that this was not supposed to be on the plate. overall, the experience was horrible. They did not have half of the dishes that they said they would restaurant needs to be more prepared next time.

The scenic atmosphere was amazing, but due to how busy it was it took us an hour to get our appetizers and beers, then another hour for our entrees to be served. I would definitely try to come here during the week and not come back on an evening during the weekend since it is the busiest. The staff seemed all over the place. One of the waitresses that was serving us forgot about our table and another waitress had to take over, which may have explained the delay with our orders. Overall the food and the drinks were very good!

I happen to stumble apon this on Facebook. Drove an hour loved the lake. Food was mediocre at best. I ordered the spiked pumpkin latte was spilled over presentation sloppy. I know for Facebook they show the best pictures and videos but I wouldn't go back.

Absolutely beautiful view! Ok staff, friendly enough. The food we received was terrible. This was our first and last visit. The calamari was extremely rubbery. The bolognese was spaghetti in a watery sauce with one very small piece of something that mildly resembled meat. The chicken parm looked like it spent a little too much time under a heat lamp or was overcooked, it was covered in a dark red sauce while the overcooked rigatoni was tossed in a vodka sauce. The gnocchi was alright, nothing spectacular, but edible. The Nonna Bites (I don’t remember exactly what they were called) were very good, flavorful and well prepared. I didn’t mind the prices if the food had been even half way decent. We didn’t eat the bolognese, parm nor calamari. There is apparently, in very small print, a line on the menu stating that they do not take any item off of the bill, which tells me that they receive a fair amount of complaints about their food quality. Has a very buyer beware feeling to it. It’s slightly odd, as others mentioned, that they don’t serve bread nor salad with pasta dishes, if the food is good it’s not necessary but it is common practice. Ordinarily I wouldn’t write a bad review if the establishment had shown any concern at all or made any attempt to correct the problem. The manager never came to the table, she left the waitress to handle the complaint.

My wife and I went here for lunch on the patio. It had a wonderful atmosphere and view. The meals were fantastic and the Calamari was about the best we've ever had. Our waitress Diane was spectacular! She was so very friendly and accommodating. Her happiness and service were awesome! Thank-you! We'll be back soon!
