Was there recently while in town for a youth hockey tournament. The sign popped out so we gave it a try. Twice. Was not let down either time. Was is it the best pizza I’ve ever had ? No. But it was pretty close. We brought the boys back for a snack between games and they loved it. The owner was awesome even asking my kid if he wanted to scrub up and watch him make a pizza with his own toppings. Extremely friendly and awesome decor. Would highly recommended visiting if you’re in town. All of the staff on hand were incredibly polite. Loved the NY and New Haven blend.

I order a large muzz .they said one horh .l it's Friday .Halloween ...ivane 15 mon earlier. Waited..gave me a cold pizza...thank ,ou won't come back.i give you guys 8 months to close.

Ordered a pizza and salad for dine in. Was given paper plates and plastic silverware with the pizza while my wife was given a real plate and actual silverware for her salad. Portions were horrendous and small. Salad had only 3 croutons.
Stopped by with my husband while driving through Cromwell. Was my first time at Barbs. Pizza was basically burnt and our grinder was made wrong. Dining room was different but I did enjoy looking around! Food wasn’t the best but I plan on giving it another shot sometime in the future!

Not worth the wait.
I’m not sure who said their pizza is “simply the best” but that’s not an inaccurate description, it’s just okay. Most likely won’t be returning with Zerio’s being a half mile down the road, and how terrible the whole strip mall’s parking lot entrance is. Very dangerous getting in or out, we almost got rear ended turning in and drivers are known for not paying attention in this area. Kinda disappointed, never went to their other locations but I think putting that they’ve been established since 2001 is a stretch seeing as a most of them have closed, except for another that only opened a year ago.
