The manager is exactly as big of a jerk as all the negative reviews are saying. Very glad to see him out of West Hartford. He is cheap to a fault and goes on tirades about it.

We got a large meat lovers pizza. Nice mix of bacon, Italian sausage and crispy pepperoni, just wish there was more! Staff are friendly and food is made promptly. My new go to pizza place

Been here multiple times with my friends and normal our dinner spot too and as never failed us. the customers service has been fabulous. I have literally nothing bad to say about it besides it not having more people going there because the pizza is one of the best I’ve had ever.

I just recently found Barb's Pizza and have been equally impressed the 3 times I've ordered to go. We got a large cheese pie with sausage and light onion, well done, with sides of their house sauce and pesto to dip and it was delicious. Ready within half an hour on a busy Friday night. Great find!

I was there Friday January 27, 2023, had the most amazing experience, Barry and his staff were kind and patient with me, as I couldn't make up my mind on the many wonderful choices on their menu, once chosen, the items I picked were prepared with care, the slice of Artichoke & Pesto pizza ? was to die for etc....I give them five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ not only for the food, but also the most positive experience I have had within the hospitality industry as of late.BRAVO !!!

Great customer service, I came in right before closing unknowingly and I’m assuming the owner was super kind and was still able to get me pizza even after everything was put away. The offer slices which a lot of places dont, and sometimes you just want one or two slices not a whole pie. Pizza is always good, never had a bad slice and I’ve been many times. Would recommend stopping in!

New Haven style??? stuffed breads are soggy with powder garlic and spices, the “mozzarella” is not mozz it has to be mix or a very very cheap kind.The order was wrong, ordered a Napolitan with fresh mozzarella, we got regular mozz.Steak and cheese sandwiches are the worst we’ve ever had, cheap ground beef, cheese wasn’t melted and the bread wasn’t toasted.If you’re used to eat good or even Decent food don’t go here, disappoint.
Where do I start. My fiancé and I were traveling through town from out of state. We stopped at Barbs Pizza because it was the closest pizza place we could find. We ordered 2 slices each, and a side of fries. It took at least 15 minutes from walking in to get our food- checking out at the register taking 10 of those 15. We were brought our fries and pizza and left alone. Until the owner/manager approached us with the most bizarre statement. He said “So I just want to let you guys know the fries don’t normally come like that, they gave you way too much. It’s supposed to be a $5 side of fries, and I already told the girl who made them for you that it was too much. You guys are probably wondering why you got so many.” Meanwhile- this was a normal amount of fries… a plate of fries. The same amount of fries you’d expect anywhere else, to come with your pizza. He then said “Just don’t expect that much the next time you’re here.” As mentioned- were just passing through. Which I said to him in response (“Oh no worries we’re just passing through anyway.”) and he said “No but the point is…. You shouldn’t have gotten that many fries.” Undoubtedly the weirdest exchange I’ve ever had at a pizza place. So naturally super uncomfortable- my fiancé and I quickly got to-go boxes and left. For anyone also passing through, or even locals looking to eat inside, maybe skip this place. Maybe a visit from John Taffer or Gordon Ramsey for a lesson on customer service would do this place well.

Took more than 30 minutes to get two slices of pizza and two sandwiches. While I was waiting I got a great view of one of the workers touch and harrass a poor young girl that was easily 15 years younger than him.That girl should sue this place. The sandwich in the photo was $16 originally 12". I could count the slices of meat on two hands. There was so much bread my jaw was tired after eating half of it. My girlfriend got a chicken wrap that had several pieces of cartilage mixed in with the meat. Would not recommend to anyone.

Overall good pizza, had a nice flavorful char on the bottom. Crust was crisp and not floppy. Service was quick and friendly. Very reasonably priced and tons of menu items, not just pizza.

I use to love the pizza here but the last couple times where not the best experiences, I think the owner should look for a new pizza cook besides the guy who looks half asleep all the time . He’s starting to give your place a bad look ! Also never got my refund back because it was through slice what a run around .
