Visiting the area for a wedding and Cafe Luna was nearby. Recommended by the hotel staff. I'm Italian and picky. Their food was excellent, and the plate was full. Highly recommend!

I loved my experience here. Great atmosphere and service. Very accommodating and the dishes were served as I asked them too be, I'm picky on some items. Again, very accommodating. The rolls and oil with garlic and everything they include were incredible. The dinner salad was perfect with Xtra house dressing. Angel hair pasta substituted for the mash potatoes, perfect. The chicken picata was served exactly as I ordered. Go here when you get a chance.

This restaurant definitely delivered a great meal. We went there and they accommodated us with a larger party even though we didnt have reservations they took us in, made us feel welcomed, and made it work. They have the best vodka sauce i’ve ever had in my life. the owner recommended the pistachio martini which was so so good.

The atmosphere was WAY too gloomy and the staff was very unprofessional they called me slurs in there own language ALSO a saw master splinter run into the kitchen and jumped in to the spaghetti sauce he was doing swirlies ALL up in that sauce and they over charged me for EVERYTHING

My experience was just awful. I encountered a rat running into the kitchen,like is this a zoo?I couldn’t believe it.And the big russian lady was very loud and constantly yelled at customers and workers while i was there. She charged other customers for the wrong order too.If anything,she is just awful.

Just had a banquet party at cafe luna and I can not begin to explain how wonderful it was. The room itself was absolutely beautiful. The food was Delicious! The server was super attentive always around in case we needed something. Love this place !

Wait staff is very unprofessional. Business owner even worse. As you can see in previous poor reviews, the owner goes around with food that was cooked not to the Customer’s liking. Then proceeds to go to other customers with said food, looking for others to agree with her. What is even worse is when poor reviews are left the owner of the restaurant decides to go back-and-forth with a person leaving the review. Instead of remaining professional and saying “I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Hopefully you give us another chance and we can make it right.” They go back-and-forth like a child bickering with their parents. By reading the other reviews, it is apparent that this isn’t the first time this has happened. You are more than welcome to respond back . I don’t care. I don’t have a business with a reputation to uphold….

I’ll start by saying I’m from Houston, Texas. I’m not usually motivated enough to review places but I think Cafe Luna is really deserving of a great review. The waitresses were very attentive and kind, the food was great, the salad tasted fresh, and the bread was even good as well. It was a bit empty on our side of the restaurant though I couldn’t understand why because all around I had such a great experience. Thank you cafe Luna for a great first time experience in Connecticut!

I’m actually embarrassed and appalled that these people could actually own a business . They cannot take ownership when a meal is not cooked properly , they physically pushed my family members and were extremely rude , unprofessional and obnoxious. This is the first time I have EVER written a bad review and bad is actually a nice word for what I really want to say . The sad thing is , that my meal wasn’t that bad but I am So disappointed by their lack of accountability. Would NEVER go back or recommend . RUN from this place ; -don’t walk EDIT note - more embarrassing is how they just responded to try and absolve their behavior . Speaks volumes of an establishment when they try to diminish their behavior . The customers obviously missed the beginning of the interaction as well as the subsequent pushing of both my husband and brothers girlfriend . You can keep responding all you want - the damage you have done ( and all on video ) is all the proof we all need. Hope you sleep well tonight .
