Just had a banquet party at cafe luna and I can not begin to explain how wonderful it was. The room itself was absolutely beautiful. The food was Delicious! The server was super attentive always around in case we needed something. Love this place !

Wait staff is very unprofessional. Business owner even worse. As you can see in previous poor reviews, the owner goes around with food that was cooked not to the Customer’s liking. Then proceeds to go to other customers with said food, looking for others to agree with her. What is even worse is when poor reviews are left the owner of the restaurant decides to go back-and-forth with a person leaving the review. Instead of remaining professional and saying “I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Hopefully you give us another chance and we can make it right.” They go back-and-forth like a child bickering with their parents. By reading the other reviews, it is apparent that this isn’t the first time this has happened. You are more than welcome to respond back . I don’t care. I don’t have a business with a reputation to uphold….

I’ll start by saying I’m from Houston, Texas. I’m not usually motivated enough to review places but I think Cafe Luna is really deserving of a great review. The waitresses were very attentive and kind, the food was great, the salad tasted fresh, and the bread was even good as well. It was a bit empty on our side of the restaurant though I couldn’t understand why because all around I had such a great experience. Thank you cafe Luna for a great first time experience in Connecticut!

I’m actually embarrassed and appalled that these people could actually own a business . They cannot take ownership when a meal is not cooked properly , they physically pushed my family members and were extremely rude , unprofessional and obnoxious. This is the first time I have EVER written a bad review and bad is actually a nice word for what I really want to say . The sad thing is , that my meal wasn’t that bad but I am So disappointed by their lack of accountability. Would NEVER go back or recommend . RUN from this place ; -don’t walk EDIT note - more embarrassing is how they just responded to try and absolve their behavior . Speaks volumes of an establishment when they try to diminish their behavior . The customers obviously missed the beginning of the interaction as well as the subsequent pushing of both my husband and brothers girlfriend . You can keep responding all you want - the damage you have done ( and all on video ) is all the proof we all need. Hope you sleep well tonight .

I received a Cafe Luna gift card for my birthday from my daughter and they gave her a recycled gift card that someone had turned in. When she noticed it and told them she didn't want a recycled card they told her it was to late they already put the money on the card. The back of the card is faded and had marker on it. I called to speak to the owner but was told he was busy. I told the woman that I am returning the gift card and want the cash because I think it is disgusting that they would recycle gift cards. She laughed at me and hung up. I will be going there and they better give me the cash. What a cheap, disgusting thing to do

WOW! My favorite italian restaurant in the area. If I got to chose my last meal on earth it would be their pene ala vodka! The sauce is *chefs kiss*
I heard good things about here but my wife and I went there for Valentine’s Day and I was disappointed in the food and service. The wait staff was nice but it took forever to get the food. I had the trout and it was served on an old cutting board and was way overcooked. Almost every plate was served with mashed potatoes potato and vegetables. Their salad was literally a bowl of lettuce with a spoonful of house vinaigrette dressing, no tomato, no croutons, no cucumber. Nothing but a bowl of lettuce. We ordered a bottle of wine and was literally put on or table with the wrong glasses for white wine . Waitress Didn’t open the bottle or pour the wine.

Lovely ambience. No loud music! Warm and cozy atmosphere. Delicious food every time. Shrimp Scampi is the best I’ve ever had and it’s one of my favorite dishes

My 1st visit to this cozy restaurant & bar. Warm rolls & yummy 'dressed up' dipping oil were brought to the table after our drinks (👍🏻) were ordered. Bountiful menu w/any pasta entrees on special for 1 price & a few specials. I ordered eggplant rollatini. It came w/salad & spaghetti. My GF got the rigatoni special. Ample serving & tasty Alfredo sauce but the pasta needed more cooking (4 stars) Opting to share it, we made our gelato dessert ($$) disappear. I would take the trip & go back again 👍🏻
