Visited the Cromwell Creamery for the first time tonight and tried the Black-raspberry soft serve. By far, the BEST soft serve I’ve ever had! The flavor was sooo good and it was perfectly smooth and creamy. I honestly considered getting another cup… I thought the serving was generous too for the price! Already planning my next visit as I write this.

Third time here, and they still have soupy milkshakes. Go here for ice cream I guess not for the milkshakes. Make them thick no watery!!!! I will try and specify and give this place one more chance. Staff was great and the establishment looks clean as a whistle.

I love the ice cream, I have come for years by myself and with family. I don't know what changed this year but I have made several trips here for ice cream since the spring opening and a couple of big disappointments. The prices have gone up noticeably and the service is incredibly slow. By the time my oder is complete the first item has begun to melt. 😟

My sons birthday is today,(6/9) I called around Carvels,Friendly's couldn't help me with a special all vanilla with scrunchies in between the 2 layers of ice cream,I was referred to Cromwell Creamer,the young man that answered the phone was so very helpful, & I less the 24 hours the cake was ready to be picked up,it was beautiful & I did get asked where I got it trom,everyone was so happy & said it was delishous!THANK YOU,CROMWELL CREAMERY!!

Delicious homemade ice cream and friendly service! I think the Cookie Monster is my favorite, or the toasted almond… they are all so good I really can’t decide. Definitely check this place out for a cool sweet treat.

Every time we go here, they mess up the order. Ordered a large hot fudge Sunday with chocolate soft serve. Always comes out with vanilla. Today when she had to go back and remake it, there was about a quarter cup of ice cream and all whip cream. Ordered a small cone with shots, came out without the shots. I don't think they have ever gotten the order correct on the first try. Definitely don't recommend it.
They serve ice cream. It's a walk-up window service with quite a lot of flavors, soft, and hard ice cream, which you can have in cones sundaes or pints. I have tried a few flavors of the hard ice cream very good. Will be back to try more.

This is the second time I have received an attitude from some of your workers when I paid and didn't tip.
We come to get ice cream at least once to twice a week so it's not like we aren't making a $$ contribution.
I suggest you pay your employees more if they are depending on gratuities to make up their wage difference.
This tipping nonsense and air of entitlement for just doing one's job is getting to the point that it's become predatorial and shaming in nature and who wants to be guilted into coming back or not as the case may be.
Needless to say, we won't be back which is too bad as we've been going to CC as long as it's been in business.

Cromwell Creamery is Connecticut’s best kept secret. Exceptional service, delicious flavors & very reasonable prices. I had the homemade caramel corn; hands down the best I’ve ever had. After visiting, I found out they have over 40 homemade flavors and even homemade waffle cones! They have weekly specials as well which I find to be particularly innovative.
