Lorenzo’s Pizza and Martini Lounge

First time trying this spot. We grabbed a medium pie to-go for the first time last weekend. Ordered a half cheese half pepperoni and cherry pepper pie. The location was fine, nice little crowd of people on a weekend evening. The host was very nice and helped me as soon as I walked in. The Pie was nice and warm.

When I got home we unboxed the pie. The results on a 1 to 10 scale are about a 6.8. The temperature was great, the pie was cooked well and had a nice crisp to it. I couldn’t figure out what if the pie wanted to be a greek style pie or Apizza! Not thin enough to be apizza but thick and the consistency of a greek style pie. The toppings were on the light side, rhetorical cherry peppers were cut smaller than i’m used to and the sauce had a little kick to it. I enjoyed the pie and everything tasted fine but, when comparing this to the other major pizza spots throughout CT, this wouldn’t be our first place we recommended for Pizza.

The establishment was clean and the help was friendly. Prices are reasonable and they offer a full menu. Out of curiosity, I would like to come back again to try the food. Nice local option to have.

I’ve tried Lorenzo’s pizza three times. The first two times it was the Clams Casino - two entirely different pies. The first was really tasty, the second one barely had a clam on it and it was kinda bland. Thought we’d give it one more try, so the third time we had the Spinach, Ricotta, Eggplant and added Sausage. I’m not joking when I say the entire ‘Large’ didn’t have one link’s worth of sausage on it and we could not even find the spinach. If I closed my eyes I could not taste any distinct flavor, not the toppings, not the sauce, no garlic or herbs - not something I’ll ever eat again. Very disappointing… especially for $32.

Extremely disappointed with the food and drinks. We order a buffalo chicken pizza and it tasted identical as to buying a frozen pizza. I waited very long for a drink (about 15 minutes) a total of 4 people in the bar including us and when I got it they kindly remade it seeing that the drink was separating after I started drinking it. What I am most upset about is the cost of 2 shots. That is almost casino prices. I have never paid $22 for 2 shots for a local bar or restaurant. That is extremely expensive and for the quality of the pizza, the cost seems pretty high itself

We loved the food and the atmosphere. We had mozarella sticks, wings and the meat lovers pizza. This is the best pizza I ever had in Cromwell. Thin crust, crunchy border, well distribution of toppings.

If you like veggies on your pizza, skip, it seems like the vegetables are not fresh and they come out of a can other than that staff was nice and I got my food pretty fast

Bar tender was so nice made me great drinks and on point ?I was able to enjoy my dinner , watch a great game on the big screen tvs all over and I was able to socialize while they play great music on the back-round.

My overall experience has been consistent, service is important to me and so far staff has been friendly, attentive and efficient.Just a joy to talk with, the food, pizza, grinders and the Lorenzo salad are delicious.Atmosphere- relaxing after a stressful week.

I only ordered takeout, but when I came inside, it had a really nice and welcoming interior. Ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza. The sausage was great, thick, but not too much to where it took away from the whole pie. Cheese was tasty and was applied consistently throughout. The sauce was excellent and was just right. Nice dough, thick but stable slices with thin crust. Thin slices but can fold with ease and still not droop. Best pizza in the area, will definitely come back for more. Highly recommend

We got take out for the first time from Lorenzo’s and were very happy with our food. Pizza was tasty and staff were helpful.

Everything was fine except the one drink in ordered. If you think i ordered a martini think again that’s supposed to be a old fashioned which it was clearly not.

Excellent Excellent!!!! My 1st time yesterday,, crust not thin just right,,, friendly people, atmosphere, had my 2 dirty martinis. Also good selection,,,, I will be back!!!!! & my husband ate it,, he like meat but he didn't complain,, servers are wonderdul,, I like Lunas,, I walked in there first, I enjoy Lunas to,,, but they both have 35 address,, enjoy!!

Went last night with some friends. Love the atmosphere, warm and relaxing. The pizzas were excellent. I had the spinach ricotta and my husband had the buffalo chicken. Both were delicious. The martinis are fun but the menu needs more of a description to explain what’s in them. Definitely going back!

Best Chicken Parm Grinder around absolutely delicious 🤤. The young Lady who was our server was so nice and personable. She made us feel at home. Will definitely return with all of our friends and spread the word of how scrumptious this a little hidden gem is.
