The food was absolutely perfect! All white meat in the sweet and sour chicken. The pork fried rice is delicious, and the pork is good and plenty! They also have the best egg rolls of anywhere I've gone! I go back at least once a month!

Vegetarian options: The broccoli in garlic sauce with veggie fried rice combo is phenomenal, if you need a vegetarian option!

Stopped in here because it smelled so good while walking by! Delicious sesame chicken, friendly service and nice tables inside if you want to sit and wait or eat. The fried dumplings weren’t my favorite, but other than that I enjoyed everything!

Ate your food last night and now I’m sick with food poisoning. You guys should check your food to see what’s contaminated.

This Chinese spot has the best Chinese I’ve had in awhile, recommend the chicken lo mein combo with shrimp fried rice. The shrimp is cooked and super fresh, there’s even no mushrooms in my lo mein which is my personal preference. They don’t drown their food with soy sauce they put a perfect amount in the lo mein where it’s still enjoyable to eat! Prices are doable than most places!

Simple and effective! Stopped in last night to grab something quick. I ordered a General Tso’s combination and a Large Pork Lo-Mein. When I went inside it reminded me of a place I used to frequent back in Queens. Family owned and operated, the young man who took care of me at the front was very polite. I got my food on-time and hot. The food was great, I have absolutely no complaints. The General Tsos was actually spicy like I prefer, the rice was fresh and flavorful. The Lo-Mein was just what I expected. I would definitely order here again.

Moon Star has very good food, but they are closed on Sunday.. I don't know why, other Chinese restaurants are closed on a Monday or Tuesday. I live down the street & they have lost so much $ on Sunday which is a great business day, you are losing so much money!

Not to sure if they got a new cook or what... BUT... this was the ONLY place I would order my Chinese food from... this last order was honestly horrible.... couple bites & in the trash it went...I def don't have money to waste so it will be a longggggg time before I order again on top of the fact of having to find a new Chinese restaurant to order from.

Tried this place and the sesame chicken tastes pretty good. Nice lil crunch but still tender. The house lo mein is tasty but is light on ingredients in my opinion. The Crab Rangoon appetizer...don't get. The meat is minimal compared to how big it is. Not worth it at all. Egg roll is small compared to other places but not too bad. Store was ok, had some visible wear on the floor tiling. Overall ok experience. I would go here if I was in a pinch, but not my first option as there are better options around.

Fine place for Chinese in a pinch. Service was great! Prices weren’t bad at all, the off set was portions were slightly smaller than I’ve seen at other Chinese restaurants. If you get the general tso chicken be aware that it’s spicy maybe spicier than you’d normally find.Chicken lo main was nothing special for the extra 3 bucks (approx) I’d prob go without it as a side next time.Conclusion- it was a fine place to go to in a pinch, while it likely won’t be my go to spot going forward, it’s a solid back up

I’d been to Moon Star a couple of times before but always found the food average. I decided to give it another try since I’d never had their orange chicken before. The lunch special is a good deal for the amount of food you get (they added a generous portion of orange chicken).Although the owners are very nice and friendly (one of the things I like the most about this place), I don’t think I’ll be returning in a long time. Something about the food made me feel sick. I don’t know if it was the greasiness or something that was wrong with it. It didn’t go light on my stomach. The orange chicken has a lot of sauce with intense orange flavor including rinds that sometimes felt too strong. The rice tasted too greasy and its portion was a little smaller than expected.I do not recommend ordering the wonton soup as a lunch side, it had a funky smell and the wontons were not appetizing at all, even less if you take a look at the mystery meat inside them.I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend this place, but if you’re looking for an average cheap lunch that is filling it’s a good option.
