I have 3 negative experiences at SHOPRITE Cromwell store in the past year. I believe all were racially motivated. #1said good morning to male cashier and was ignored he didn't bag my items and.#2 female deli pushed aside all the meat when I ordered antipasto salad and walked away when I complained about it. #3 Two days ago a lady was bagging for the line I was in and when she saw me she went to another line where the lady had 6 items and bagged hers she stayed there talking to the cashier and I bagged my groceries. From now on I will be taking names and will complain to management .

I just want to say thank you ShopRite! My license had gone missing for a few days and I recall having it when I went to ShopRite. I was thinking I should stop at their customer service desk and ask if one had been turned in.In the meantime I went to my mailbox and there was an envelope from ShopRite with my license in it!! I was so happy and now I don't have to go to the dreaded DMV!! Thank you very very much ShopRite!!! 5 stars for them!

This store is going downhill lately. Please be very careful of the prices while ringing out, they CONSTANTLY ring prices wrong...like every time we go...it makes us not want to shop there any longer Also, we've noticed a significant change in quality of the produce and deli items...things are spoiling much faster than they used to. Used to be such a great store...

My first experience with this shoprite was wonderful. My second not so much....I was planning on spending about $60 at the deli counter which in itself is a travesty. My number came up (and boy did it!) Out if the 3 deli ladies, fate paired me with Dawn. Right off the bat she had some problem with me. Slamming the meat and throwing it back in the case. The third time she threw a ham so hard at me, only the strength of the glass stopped from careening into the produce across the way. She asked me what else I wanted. I asked her if I had offended her in some way, and if I had I apologized she began to slice my 4th selection but I had had enough and told her to forget it. I left and will not be returning . There are many grocery store options in the area.

When this ShopRite opened across from Stop & Shop we changed to exclusively shopping here every week, but lately have found the quality to have dropped significantly. On several frequent visits there will be no employee at or near the seafood counter, despite waiting and looking for help.On our most recent visit, the chicken salad from the deli we purchased contained several bones, and the rolls were found to be moldy the day after purchase.Sad to see, but we will no longer be shopping here as this has just been just one of several disappointing recent visits.

I am so frustrated with this place the few times that I actually been in there. The service was horrible and the employees were so rude so I tried their delivery instead their app is totally flawed and does whatever it wants to. They’ll send you whatever and charge you for it even if you didn’t order it, and even if you said don’t substitute, they still send whatever they want. It took them forever to get my food to me and when they did there was a half a dozen items missing when I called to see what had happened. And explained how things were missing in my whole order was changed. They did very little to help me and after going back and forth on the phone for a week I still had no refunds and no apologies. Finally, I called the corporate office to get my money back, explained everything and told him that I would never do business with them again and I Only reason why I left one star because they won’t let you leave Zero

Better selection than most other grocery stores however some of the staples are overpriced compared to other ShopRites owned by others..70 or 40% difference in gallon of bowl and basket spring water vs Glastonbury/E. HartfordAfter mentioning in private to the store manager she stated that it was due to demographics. In other words it's a money grab they can charge it and they do.

very racist the head of the store or what ever she was a blonde woman working cashier. decided to yell at my fiancé a 6'4 African american male because we were looking at the toys by her cashier. exclaiming we were stealing when we in fact had our receipts from our prior Marshalls trip inside our Marshalls bag. she refused to listen and kept yelling causing a commotion.

This location never has the Bowl and Basket peach low-fat yogurt in stock. We called the store to order a case and was told to call back a few days later to see if the dairy manager ordered it. We did that and spoke with the dairy manager who ordered 2 cases. We called him back when he told us to and no one could tell us if the yogurt was available. It’s bad enough o spend $300 a week there for questionable items (bagged apples usually have rotten ones in them) sour cream does not have protective film cover- but their customer service is non existent. Guess it’s time to find another grocery store who actually wants my business.

Sept.29,2023 the staff are very nice and helpful however the problem l have isn't with the staff or produce.Minding my own business l was approached by two christian ladies asking people to join their Bible study.l don't have a problem with their choices l have a problem with them approaching people in the grocery store.lts a inappropriate time and location

never has their own brand shop rite low fat peach yogurt even on a friday going into the weekend Talked to the dairy manger he said ill order it for monday! you should order everytime your out and if you go through it faster order more! customer service wasted 15 minutes of my time on the phone just to tell me they can't put a case aside for me to pick up and pay for it.
