Today, I went to pick up an order on behalf of a customer. When I arrived I was told the order would be ready between 1-2 min., no big deal. It's now 12minutes into my arrival time my customer is inquiring about their order so I asked the employee what's the status of the order? I was told it's almost ready yet again. At this point time is ticking and I understand some things are out of our control things get delayed but it becomes a problem when I'm being told the order will be ready shortly next thing you know is 12-15 min into this wait time. Push comes to shove they call out my customers name so I approach the counter to get the order by then I'm frustrated but I proceed to pick up the order and exit the restaurant. As I get to the exit I hear an employee say an insulting word in Spanish, now me being bilingual I clearly understand what was just said and I know it was directed at me because there was no one else around. So as I turn around to confront the employee who apparently happens to be the owner of establishment, so I was told. Now let it be clear as I proceeded to exit the restaurant before a verbal argument erupted between the owner and I. I never said anything insulting or demeaning to this individual, she only saw how flustered I became after waiting longer than the expected wait time yet that gave her no right to insult me and take it that far. It became apparent to this owner that I spoke and understood Spanish by her facial expression and instead of taking accountability for her actions she proceeded to continue to insult me, better yet she stands there and admits to what she just said then proceeds to give me a lecture on the actual meaning of the insult. At this point a verbal argument erupts she proceeds to continue to insult me better yet her employee charms in with her insults yet no one is taking accountability. This all began by her insulting me for no good reason only because she felt like doing so. It sickens me to think that if this is the way they behave with me when I was simply trying to do my job I can only imagine what they do to their customers. As an owner you should be setting an example instead you choose violence and verbal insults. This place is a disgrace.

Rest assure I have reported this incident to Uber and DoorDash. I also plan on reporting this behavior to the better business bureau. This sort of behavior is a violation to the Community no one should be subjected to this treatment in any type of establishment. You all need to be held accountable.

In response your answer, of course you will make me look like the villain so you can remain with an innocent image. I WAS INFACT TOLD IT WOULD BE A 2min wait time otherwise I would have left. Yes, I was calm up to the point I was flustered and even if that is the case that doesn't give you the right to be disrespectful or call someone out their name for no good reason. So you claim I was rude to remain looking like the innocent restaurant owner. You are disrespectful and from the reviews it looks like this is not the first time this has happened. Your response clearly speaks for itself! Learn to handle situations in a better light clearly this was very disturbing and distasteful. ✌️

Pizza with extra Roaches

On July 18, 2024, at approximately 3:00 PM, my wife, our 10-month-old granddaughter, and I visited Wooster Pizza located at 77 Berlin Rd, Suite 6, Cromwell, CT 06416. We chose to dine at a table near the back of the establishment, which featured a Barbie display inside the table. We ordered a medium Philly cheese pizza with red sauce and waited for our meal.
When our pizza arrived, it was served hot on a pizza pan placed on a separate pizza stand. After consuming a couple of slices, I reached for a third slice, took a bite, and then noticed a large bug crawling from the underside of the pizza pan toward the top of the pizza. I instinctively flicked the bug off the pan, and it fell onto the table before crawling out of sight underneath the table.
Alarmed, I stood up and loudly stated, "There was a bug on the pizza pan." I attempted to locate the bug for identification but was unsuccessful. I then examined the pizza pan more closely, specifically the underside where it sat on the stand, and discovered two more bugs, which I identified as baby roaches.
I immediately stood up again and informed the waitress, who identified herself as the owner, by stating, "There are roaches coming out of the pizza pan stand." The owner responded, "Yes, we have been trying to get rid of them for a long time."
Disturbed by this revelation, my family and I promptly left the establishment. I vomited directly in front of the pizza shop, and at approximately 3:45 PM, I contacted the Cromwell Health Department to report the incident. I spoke with a gentleman named Sal, who assured me that he would follow up on this report.
Upon returning home, my wife began experiencing symptoms of nausea and regurgitation, which persisted for about an hour. I experienced similar symptoms.

Thank you,

Years ago I had a Peanut butter Pizza! Tried it on a lark and it was SO GOOD! Well they still have it and it's still Awesome. When I remarked to the cashier that I was surprised that it was still available and she replied it was one of the most popular. Seriously.

The pizza is fantastic and the Wooster sticks are by far the best breadsticks I've ever had anywhere! The staff is friendly and courteous and the inside is fun and comfy.

Fictitious Elements

Any restaurant that has to create fake restaurants on ordering apps in order to hide must be a special kind of terrible. Food is mediocre at best, with a not so mediocre price tag. Plenty of good food on the street, go anywhere else.

Worst grinder I've ever had, for $10 you get bland, stale bread, two slices of turkey, and a few pieces of lettuce. Save your money.

Fried calamari was excellent. Sausage and pepper pizza was very good. Not as well cooked as the last time so next time I'll ask for it to be a little more well done. Great service and pretty fast.

Food was definitely reheated. Really dry and crust was so hard. I mean Hard!! Also, Meat tasted old too. Nothing fresh about my order. I will never go back there again. Im just speaking facts … I’ve been a Chef for 23 years so I know poor food when I taste it.

I know it sounds boring, but sometimes I love a great cheese pizza. (They make an amazing cheese pizza) I live right down the road and I am so lucky to have a place like Wooster next to my home.
