Went for the morning buffet breakfast, and it was highly disappointing. They offered stale breads, packets of oatmeal, the hot side had only scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon; the cold side equally sparse. The coffee was very good, and the service to refill it friendly and attentive.

We are spending the night in the Ethan Allen Hotel and decided to try the food in this restaurant inside of the hotel. We ordered starters for our meals. Prices ranged from $10-$14 we ordered the Chili cheese fries, chicken tenders and nachos. Portions were very generous!! Good deal for dinner!!

My wife and I came here for my birthday dinner last night. We have always wanted to try this restaurant since the reviews were really good. unfortunately it was very disappointing. We started with the pretzels appetizer with the cheese sauce. The pretzels were really good but the porter cheese sauce was clumpy, like a consistency of cottage cheese and did not taste good at all. I also ordered a cocktail that didn't come until after the appetizer came out (cocktail tasted great).I had the clam po boy which was good but I couldn't say the same for my wife's gnocchi. She ate two pieces of gnocchi and couldn't take another bite. I also tried one and did not like it at all. The gnocchi pasta was really good and made well but the sauce on it was horrible. My wife took my side plate of onion rings and half of my sandwich and left her meal untouched besides the 3 pieces we tried. We are not the complaining type but I figured the waitress would ask why we didn't eat the gnocchi or want it to go, but when we said we didn't want it to go she just said alright and walked away. Never asked how anything was, dropped off the food and came back when we were done eating.Really disappointing since we have been looking forward to coming here and.

He even brought my food out to the lobby to me.They wear gloves/masks and are very careful/cautious but still had a warm and welcoming atmosphere in these trying times. Don't be shy to stop in! They have outside seating too and are going above and beyond to keep everyone safe.

Our server was very friendly, and I enjoyed sitting outside. The 21 dry rub wings were delicious. BUT None of the food seemed freshly made. All reheated. Considering the price it should be fresh. Chicken sandwich was inedible. Kettle chips were stale.

The food here was excellent! Overall thought it was slightly pricey but the environment and food itself was wonderful. Jamar (one of the hotel's chefs) I had the pleasure of meeting on a personal level and cannot express how exceptional his culinary talent was and impressed on his abilities. If you'd like a terrific meal, definitely would recommend 21 Lake Restaurant & Bar.

We tried their takeout on Thursday night and it was so good we decided to dine in on Friday! New chef Jamar's menu and specials were extraordinary. I had a special crispy cod over lentils with carrot mash and the presentation and taste were flawless. My kids had a burger and crispy chicken sandwich that my son described as crack. Burger was cooked perfectly chips were house made and addictive. We will definitely be back!
