Fried rice is good
Sushi is not great. Probably the worse spicy tuna roll we have ever had

A friend and I tried Bambu for the first time this past weekend. While the environment is sleek, I wasn’t overly impressed with the service we received.

The restaurant is probably best appreciated at night time, as the atmosphere is very dark with little lighting. On a Sunday afternoon though, the place was quite empty.

Our server seemed very un-interested, acting like he didn’t want to be there. He was also insulted when my friend and decided to decline chopsticks, and practically threw forks down on our table.

Food wise I ordered both the Salmon Skin, and Sweetheart Roll. Both were good, though the rice was a tad dry, and the plate was presented beautifully,

Overall, there’s better sushi in the area with better pricing if you’re looking for a full-on experience.

Bambu Hibachi Sushi and Bar was a huge disappointment. The hibachi steak was dry, tough, and tasteless, while the shrimp was rubbery and had a strange, off-putting flavor. To make it worse, the staff was rude and dismissive. We felt like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. The overall atmosphere was unfriendly and unwelcoming. I left frustrated, unsatisfied, and definitely won’t be coming back.

Soup is wonderful, such as to bring to a sick friend. But the Thai chicken entree I had was flavorless. Good pub service and atmosphere.

Food was good. Be aware 10$ charge if you are sharing hibachi even with children. Overall good food and no complaints.

Not going to lie- slightly disappointed! I spent a good 30 min looking at the sushi places in this area and finally landed on Bambu. The prices are decent and reviews looked generally good. While the taste was okay, my sushi rolls were wildly understuffed. Figuring I bought sushi that uses some of the cheap easy ingredients on the menu, I do expect a nice chunk of avocado or sweet potato. Had more tempura than SP! :(

They were so very kind to the clients of arc mid hudson, food was great, service was excellent as well! Would go again and would definitely recommend.

Placed doordash. Wanted spicy mayo. They used to have it on app but not any longer. I put special instructions to add. I called restaurant to add and got a man who was so rude. Accused me of yelling and never raised my voice. He said how are you going to pay for it. I said I can with him over phone. He kept refusing. Mind you, I've ordered before several times and they ripped me off when I paid for it and never sent it. So finally he agreed to let me pay over phone but was charging me double than what it was before. O said why and he said because I ordered from doordash. Honestly, a couple dollar item made them lose q customer. Gross how I was treated. I thought I was being punked. Needless to say I refunded. Sorry if you were having a bad day but don't take it out on me. I should be refunded all the mayo they never sent me that I paid for.
