The honest to god truth about Bangkok is while their Thai food is always sublime every time I visit, the real secret is their pho is probably the best in the area and it's not even close. The crazier aspect of this is how they have a Vietnamese restaurant down the street, where their menu caters more to pho than anything else (for good reason), and Bangkok still crushes their broth by a landslide. Oh, and the amount you get is almost double than any of the other local restaurants that serve pho, so yeah, you get your money's worth.Go to Bangkok, enjoy the complimentary shrimp chips, eat the pho, enjoy the experience, and thank me later.

Where do I start. The Tom Ka soup was watery not a rich coconut as you would expect. The beef and broccoli that I ordered were slimy rubbery pieces of beef covered in a nondescript brown sauce (I didn't even know beef and broccoli was a Thai dish). Btw, I couldn't taste any Thai spices. My wife's shrimp pad Thai smelled oddly rancid, and had a very unusual taste. I absolutely cannot emphasize how horrible the food is. Not to mention that the Booth in the corner of the restaurant looked like the junk drawer in my kitchen...a staging area for all kinds of odd junk. Not what I want to look at when I'm going out for a nice dinner. When I asked for the check and the waitress saw I didn't eat my meal, she asked if everything was OK? I simply stated I didn't care for my meal. She literally said not a single word. No what's wrong? Is there anything I can do? Would you like something else? Can I take it off your bill?. I simply paid my bill left her a 20% tip and I will never ever return to this horrible establishment. Avoid at all costs. if you still feel you must go remember the things I wrote here...

Took my 2 nephews...we loved it!! We all ordered different dishes and shared. Most importantly you can control the heat. You want it super spicy, reg spicy or bland, they serve to your taste. I found a new place!!Parking: Plenty of spots. Bangkok is in a shopping center. Plenty of handi-capped spots.

The food is outstanding. Loved every dish we tried (crab fried rice and pad prig king with tofu) The staff is very polite and accommodating. They brought out crayons and a coloring book for my toddler. Overall, a great experience.

It's not often I give a 5 star. I am very picky but I have had a lot of Thai food and I recognize its this good.I had hot and sour soup, but I usually order Tom Yung Gai as a benchmark, so next time I will to see what its like. The soup was excellent. The basil and Thai spice pork was fantastic, such a depth of flavor.Excellent service and atmosphere even though it was quiet after lunchtime when I was in.The lunch deal at $9.50 is fantastic. Soup, spring roll and main. The portion is appropriate for lunchtime. And I appreciate being able to get a soup and a main for this price and not be totally bogged down.I can't wait to come back in and try other items.

This is a lovely small restaurant in Danbury. Great authentic atmospheer. Great Food and Personal service by the owner. We really enjoyed our meal here. Very reasonable as well as great taste. Cooked Fresh and it showed.

The menu said "grilled salmon". It was deep fried and way over-cooked. I don't eat fried food. We were so hungry, I let it slide. Some people try to get away with whatever they can.

Absolutely amazing Thai cuisine. The lunch special that comes with soup, spring rolls and lunch entree is only 9.50! The Tom Yum soup is to die for, probably the best I’ve tasted in the entire state. Service is friendly and quick. I will definitely be coming back!

Wow. First time coming here and I’m really pleased I did. Even though my order was to go, the staff is super friendly. The seating area is clean and decor makes you think you are actually in Bangkok. We ordered Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Thai rolls. Everything was excellent. I just wish they had a lunch special for our meals.

It has been many years since I last ate at Bangkok. I recalled it being very nice and upscale inside. Now it seems like an average Asian restaurant with no special ambiance. They only serve beer and wine - which was disappointing. Everything we had was fine. Nothing special, nothing great. And the prices are not cheap. No good reason to head back there anytime soon.
