I eat here regularly when I am in town. The food is terrific. I usually get the lamb chops, so it's hard to branch out and get something else. However, since I ate there twice the same week I got the swordfish. It also was excellent. I can't say enough good about this place. I highly recommend it.
This place gets it right on most aspects. The owner greets you at the door and service was attentive and quick. The food overall was good. The steak salad was delicious and so was fhe sweet potato soup. The ribs were not my favorite at the meat fell of the bone but was a little over cooked and tough. I am also more of a Kansas City style sauce guy as well. Overall, well worth the visit.
The old fashioned, espresso martini, broccoli, asparagus, sweet potatoe, calamari, and tomohawk for 2 was delicious.

Our server was prompt and very courteous. She didn't annoy us. I would love to say she was very professional, knew the menu well, and was able to take our pallets on a beautiful tour of the menu. Black Angus is phenomenal for these reasons and many more.
(I serve in fine dining [Deans - Charlotte.)
