Cafe on the Green is a wonderful restaurant with delicious food, meticulous service and lovely golf course views. It is not crowded or noisy and great for a romantic , quiet and relaxing meal.

We had a great night celebrating my mother's 81st birthday. Omar and Carlos did a great job and as usual the food was delicious. The salmon was a big hit along with the Osso Buco. Thanks!

We had the brunch. Nice views and great room. The service was competent and attentive. The food was pretty mediocre golf club fare. It is all...fine as long as you don't order anything too clever.

We were there for our company party. We all feel like the staff are rushing to get the food out so we can eat and leave. There was no pause in between food. My food was dried. The steak was fatty and chewy. We didn't like it.

Had a wonderful night on New Year's Eve. Food delicious and great selections. Our waiter Omar was excellent. At the end we called the owner over and Tracy pulled over a chair to talk with us a bit. We had a chance to tell him how great everything was. Highly recommend.

We have dined here multiple times. Food is typically very good. We attended New Year's Eve for their price fixed 5 course menu. We feel there are some areas to improve. Bruschetta was unimpressive, bread with chunky salsa, no cheese. Salad came pre dressed with salted oil and vinegar. For the price, they should offer salad dressing options. Some entrees were excellent (seafood linguini was excellent) and some were ok. Filet Mignons were undercooked and doused with Gorgonzola sauce. I ordered cheesecake for dessert, preferring creamy NY style, which I verified with my waiter before ordering. However, the cheesecake wasn't NY, it was Italian style ricotta based and grainy. Our waiter was attentive and polite. At times we felt rushed by the serving staff ... as soon as a course was finished they were immediately serving the next course. The food could have been hotter and felt mass produced. Normal dinners at this restaurant aren't like that. It was a good crowd for New Year's Eve, but should have been manageable for the staff.

This one of our favorite restaurants. We are lucky to have Cafe on the Green in our neighborhood. The wine list is great. We eat here for dinners and lunches. it's terrific for a romantic dinner or a quick lunch after golf or hiking.

Lovely lunch overlooking the golf course. Great service. Price fix lunch for $28 with salad, steak with mushroom sauce, mashers, sliced zucchini and crème brûlée was amazing! My only negative was there was too much salt on all the food. But perfect lunch! Thanks

Danbury's best kept secret! Food is fresh, even if you are the only customer there! Absolutely delicious! Service is friendly and helpful. I suggest you try Cafe on the Green the next time you want some Italian food, you won't be disappointed.

Disappointed from the moment we arrived when the three of the four of my party sat and I was asked if my husband was parking the car. As a single parent and executive I was disgusted by this comment and more so that my children heard it. The service from the majority of the staff, not all, was very poor including having to leave my seat a minimum of 7 times to ask for drink refills, etc. when trying to enjoy a very overpriced Thanksgiving meal with my family was disappointing. The penna vodka was phenomenal, but the presentation was sad as it was basically served on a break plate and referred to as a first course. The filet mignon was excellent, but dessert was cold. I recommend to anyone not looking to enjoy their experience, would like a workout rather than waitstaff and to be offended and experience bias.

When i tell you that the food at this restaurant is great!!!! Listen, my mother in law invited us to this restaurant for a celebration. The atmosphere was great. Even though it seemed like there was a lot of celebration going on on that particular Sunday it still wasn't loud. It's attached to a golf course so there's a nice little scenery. The food was a solid 9/10. My spouse had the *Griled salmon, capers, garlic, fresh herbs served in a white wine sauce 9.5/10. While i had the *Filet Mignon, in a light Gorogonzoia brandy sauce. 9/10 I ordered a medium steak and when i tell you that it was cooked and seasoned perfectly!!!! It was so delicious. The reduced Gorogonzoia brandy sauce complimented the steak perfectly. I cant recall my servers name but i know that he was from Peru -Lima to be exact. He ensured that our table was well kept and answered any questions we had. Overalls we had a great time.

Splendid price fix 3-course lunch with the tastiest salad dressing, the best red snapper I've ever had in a plum tomato, white wine and capers sauce topped off with tiramisu for dessert. The wait staff were right on point, attentive but not overbearing .
