Always fantastic service and food quality. Small, but not cramped. Staff is attentive and courteous. Prices are high, but not outrageous. Expect $100/person with drinks before tip.

Food was very good overall. They could use some fabric to help with the noise level in the main room which got so loud it was hard to have a conversation at our table of 4.

Outstanding experience! Table side preparation is wonderfully old school. Incredible food. Can't be over hyped. Get Filet Mignon, Caesar Salad, Cacio e Pepe, no matter what else you order. Amazing.

First time last night celebrated our 32nd Anniversary. It was an amazing experience. With the table side Caesar salad which made us realize salad is not just salad. Also, we were blown away by the cacio e pepe, realizing it’s not just pasta. Then the entrees came out. My wife had the Halibut special which she says was simply perfect. I had the best filet mignon I have ever eaten. It was perfectly flavored and tender as butter. The portion sizes were excellent and we were both full by dessert. We split an apple pie with vanilla ice cream for good measure. I almost forgot, the drinks were so good as well. The Kentucky Boubon with cherry juice and lime was spot on and my wife’s pineapple concoction hit the mark. Thank you to the wonderful staff for such a great anniversary. I’d say we will be returning for many more meals😍

So I had to lie a bit in my timing of when I last dined at Castello cause trip advisor only lets you choose within the past couple months. Its been a few years but I miss this place so much. I live in Scottsdale Arizona and I can say with confidence this is the best Italian resturant I have ever ate at in the country. My family used to stop here on our way to my grandparents house for Christmas- they made a table side Ceasar and a Carbornara that would blow your socks off. Our waiter, (we had the same one each year) was so nice and wanted to get to know us. If i had to move to a town, id consider Danbury purley cause this place exists.

Food and service is outstanding. Whenever I want a good meal, I come to this restaurant, Costello‘s. I have had many different dishes here and never disappointed.. Filet mignon on the bone is one of my favorites.

Our overall experience was wonderful. The table side Caesar salad was excellent. The main courses were delicious but a bit on the small side. Cannolis were very good but the tiramisu was a little too heavy on the coffee flavor for our tastes. Everything was fresh. The wine list was very good as was the bar selection. Highly recommend.

My friend, who now lives in Danbury, and I ate dinner at Castello recently and it did not disappoint! We were greeted upon entering and shown to our table right away. The restaurant has a well-stocked bar, great vibe and very personable staff. We started with a perfectly-prepared martini. It was ice cold, prepared as we asked and a very good size. We chose the burrata appetizer special and the cacio e pepe, which is made tableside. FYI, it can be made as an appetizer or main course! We opted for it as a main course. The young man who prepared the pasta did an outstanding job and the fact that it is made tableside and placed in front of you as soon as it is done, keeps it hot and cheesy. And to see it made was fun! We enjoyed it tremendously. We did not choose to add the truffle oil drizzle as truffle oil, in my own opinion, would have taken away from the delicious flavor of the cheese. We did try dessert even though we are not dessert people. I preferred the tartufo over the apple struedel, but the struedel was also good. The coffee was delicious as well. This is a great place for families or for a date night. There is plenty of parking. All of the staff were friendly and knew their menus for questions about how items were prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant for their food, ambiance, vibe and great staff. This was our first time, but definitely not the last! Thank you Castello for a great dinner!
