We eat here about once a month, and the food is always fabulous. The father is in the kitchen cooking, and his sons are in the dining room serving. The sons are always very welcoming, helpful, and entertaining. We were there last Saturday for another great meal. I told Nori, I want to take my time and relax between courses, he said of course, no problem. We started with drinks from the bar. I ordered a Double Angels Envy bourbon, and Sue had a slightly dirty martini. The drinks were great pours. For an appetizer we both had the Cacio e Pepe, prepared table side. Nori always does a great job making the pasta, and it is very entertaining to watch him. Wow, so much flavor it just jumps off the fork. I think this is their best appetizer. We then moved to salad, which they also made a fresh Caesar salad table side. The fresh ingredients made right there, provides flavors which were amazing. I had some extra Anchovies on the side, Sue was happy with hers just as it was.For Dinner, I had the King Filet Mignon, which was like 13 ounces. Flavorful and tender. You didn’t even need a knife to cut it. I usually order a ribeye when I go out, but this steak always has more flavor than a ribeye, and cooked just how I asked, medium rare. This was a better steak than I have had a great steakhouse. Sue had the Chicken Scarpariello, which was spicy, tender, and flavorful. Another good choice. On other occasions I have had the twin Pork Chops (not sure if that was a special), and Veal Chop. Again, excellent. This time, we didn’t have desserts as we were too full, but other times we have had their desserts, and they are delicious.I would highly recommend this restaurant. Parking isn’t the easiest, but we have never had a problem and it is certainly worth it.

I was so disappointed by the service it took us 2 hour to be served and the shrimp was missing on shrimp pasta.

Great atmosphere and service. Very disappointed with my wife’s salad that was served on an appetizer plate. My pasta was the equivalent to a child’s portion. When I questioned the potion, we were given an option, by the manager, to order and pay for a whole new salad. Not worth it. Definitely not returning.

First time here. We had brussels sprouts as appetizer...crispy and out of this world.Branzino and spaghetti cacio e pepe as main course. Both served table side. Excellent!!Bottle of chianti classico. This is by far the best restaurant I've been to in the CT. We will definitely be back and bring lots of friends??????????

Castello's is always crazy on holidays and so we were prepared for it. Wait time for the table was pretty short, and the kitchen must have been slammed. Typically service here shines, but we were not checked on as we usually are when dining there. My dinner was ‘meh' .. was supposed to be spicy and it was not. No server ever checked “is everything to your liking” because I would have asked for red pepper flakes. I ate it regardless. Guess the rush eased up because after a long long wait to check on us after we completed our meals, dessert/coffee/aperitifs were pretty efficiently executed.

We have been there multiple times... The food is consistently good! Our reservation was at 6:30 and the place was packed. Although the waiter was charming and such, for the most part, we felt ignored. We had to ask for water, and ask for the check...... we didn't get our meals until 9:15 pm.... Even when the other tables were empty, our waiter was busy chatting, with people at the bar, or just not really attentive, which was disappointing. We will go back at some point in the future because the food was really good, but just hoping the service is a little better next time.

First time. For Thanksgiving. Very enjoyable experience. Turkey was cooked to perfection. Gigantic shrimp was a treat.

The food was good. The menu really doesn't have a large selection. The restaurant is located on the second level, its a walk up. If you have elderly people with you not so pleasant. Not wheelchair friendly. They do have valet parking. The lighting is terrible when trying to read the menu.

Great Resturant for a romantic evening with your spouse , we heard great things about this restaurant and it was all true. The food and service was amazing. We will be back with our friends to show this place off.

They say first impressions are everything...well they are right....We were greated by Nori who immediately made us feel at home...The food was amazing I had the Cacio and Pepe which was prepared table side my wife had the chicken franchese which was delicious....we will be back ...everything was top shelf.

What a really nice authentic restaurant! I was surprised how good and flavorful the food was, and even how nice it looks inside. You're almost transported to about part of the world. The food was soooo good. The branzino was beautifully cooked and filleted table side. Did I mention the flavors were incredible? We finished with the housemade lemoncello which was divine Ava refreshing. A 10/10. The waiter was friendly and the owners son so you get the family vibe for sure.
