Don’t go to this chipotle. They are the worst. They will rob you blind when you place an order online. They don’t fill the order as requested. They treat you out of what you’re paying for. They don’t have the food they tell you online that they will have. Their employees don’t care don’t go here.

My order from every single Chipotle (3 CT locations: Wilton, Danbury, and another Danbury...) has been wrong over the course of 15 years. Considering every single Chipotle order has been wrong, I find it charming at this point.
If I were benevolent, I would claim that the incorrect orders were on purpose to show you a more delicious version of what our fat thumbs chuck up. Unfortunately, I inherited the palette of a medieval orphan and, as such, desire my beans and rice to be accompanied by little more than sour cream. Chipotle needs you to be interested in wet cheese, goddamnit.
This location is exactly as good as any other-- mid food at a premium price.
I've picked up three orders between 3 locations both before the pandemic and today (12/24).
The one in Wilton let half of the carnitas bowl be a gelatinous, inedible mess. They forgot the requested utensils and gave me crummy lettuce.
Both Danbury locations got the order wrong each year.
Food service is incredibly difficult. Every employee went above and beyond to make for an excellent experience. Every store at any year I covered blew me away with who they had hired.
Other than their obviously underpaid service staff, I cannot understand why this franchise has grown. It must be surviving on nostalgia and some decrepit scheme.

Overpriced dirty and small portions

I thought the location was closed because the inside lights were so dark. The entire restaurant was filthy with litter all over the dirty tables. When we got to the front the entire warm table was almost empty with only chicken available. We got 2 salads and the super greens were frozen to the inside of the metal bin, so they got very wilted after they thawed in the bowl. They were out of all the proteins except chicken, out of sour cream and they didn’t give us salad dressing for the salads. The burrito bowl was not great either and very skimpy on all three. I went to get napkins and they had no napkins and next to nothing on the beverage area including all the lemonades were empty and looked filthy. I also asked for a receipt and they said that wasn’t working either. I took their store number 2730. I was not happy. The bowls were not sealed properly and leaked all over my son’s brand new down coat, so now it wreaks of raw onions. I should have taken pics it looked abandoned and shut down.
I have seen truck stops in the middle of nowhere with cleaner more welcoming atmospheres. Absolutely abysmal!

The food at Chipotle is usually good, but my recent visit was overshadowed by a strange and unpleasant experience. While my family and I were eating, a high school girl at the table next to us had her leg raised high, with the bottom of her shoe practically in my face.
At first, I thought she might have had an injury, maybe from an accident, and couldn’t bend her knee. I genuinely felt bad for her, thinking she was in recovery. However, as we were leaving, I saw her sitting perfectly normal. It seems her behavior was just unnecessarily rude and inconsiderate.
I hope she finds comfort in keeping her leg elevated permanently so she won’t feel awkward putting it down in public spaces again. God bless her and her left leg.

We go to Chipotle for take out almost once a week. It is take out that doesn’t feel like we are eating processed franchise food on burger alley. The lettuce is clean and not wilted or brown and all the other contents appear to be moving quickly so they look fresh. We will continue to eat there because the portions are plentiful, as well b
Me and the kid went in 5 min apart got same thing, exception i got lettuce and the bowls were a HUGE difference, what is the problem with the sizes? One gives hardly nothing in portions and the other is what I expect it to be, sorry Chipolte get it together and stop being stingy
Food was luc warm at best, cashier couldn't make change, soda fountain was out of order and the one juice they had was flavorless and warm. Not coming back.

As always the place was dirty. It was only noon and it was still dirty. Sell fountain drinks but, coke was not working. Ordered steak bowl. Had to ask for a second small spoon of rice. Gave less than a spoon of steak. Only topping i like is pepper and onion. Gave a little bit. When asked for more they gave me some sauce. I said i do no want that. But poured some on anyone. Do they make a new bowl nope do they say sorry. Nope. Would have walked out but wife likes the food but, even she said the portions were so small. Figured i would still be hungry ao got a bag of cold chip.they tasted like day old chip. Steak was barely warm when i sat down and was cold halfway thru eating. The onky thing that seemed ro work was the ac. Frooze my butt off. Left place and got a slice of pizza to feel satisfied. No more chipotle. Never again
