There's 5 people at the burrito bar. 3 Handling the customer orders, and 2 at the register. Behind those 5 I see an additional 2 people at drive thru, 2 people on food prep, and 2 people walking back and forth to and from the backroom area. It appeared as though everyone handling the customer food orders was not trained. Inadequate portions, they were leveling off the spoons, so you get very little rice. Another half spoon of protein (in this case chicken), I'm in live time seeing the smallest ever $11.11 burrito being made. Then it gets to the 3rd person who has no idea how to fold a burrito, it's 5pm so I assume he's been working for a while that day. I ended up with a flatbread, that's how poorly this was folded and how little food my burrito had. Then he hands to the 4th person, who then tells the cashier what I got. I have no idea what the value of the 2nd register person brings to the table, they literally put burritos in bags all day. What's the point? Absolutely nobody was spending time with the staff that had no idea how to build, fold, and finish a burrito, terrible experience every time I've gone to this Chipotle, and after 5 trips, I've finally learned my lesson. They should close this location for a complete lack of leadership and direction. Never going back again.

For $20, the burrito was really small and not well put together- half of it was just sour cream and cheese, while the other half was mostly rice and beans. The portion was tiny for the price. The staff were nice, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back. It’s just not worth it for the quality or the amount of food.

This the worst chipotle I’ve been to in my entire life. When I first open the door I wasn’t greeted with a hello, I was greeted with micro aggression. My spouse placed an online order foy my lunch. I thought since I arrived at the restaurant earlier I’d wait in the common area until it was time to get my food. Boy was I wrong. I don’t know if he was the manager, walks up to me.. hospitality is disgsuting and doesn’t even start off by saying hi. He states “are you waiting for something?!” I answered him and told him I was waiting for a pick up order. He responded and said what was the name. I gave him the name and he came back with my order. He didn’t even say have a nice day or anything! Not that I needed it from him anyways. My bowl barely had any protein, and when I asked for more the Hispanic lady at the counter, the rude so called manager and another staff worker looked at me like they were disgusted and didn’t like black people! Worse chipotle ever !

This is my first time, ever, writing a review for anything in my life. This place was really not great and reading some of the reviews from the past its really sad to see that it hasn't improved. I have the same complaints that everyone else does. The place is dirty, and the workers are not nice and always have an attitude with customers. Plates and bags piled up around the garbage, and very filthy counter tops, I really didn't want to eat there so I took my food to go.
Other Chipotle locations around here are much better in comparison. Not trying to be rude, I am just trying to be as honest as possible here.

I have never been to a Chipotle worst than this. First, stop hiring people who doesn't speak English, or are least putting then to deal with the public. Second, lack of cleanness and maintenance. There was food everywhere on the counter and on the floor plus the soft drink machine was dripping making the floor all wet. Third, ordering online doesn't help, I just got my order and it's incomplete. The level of incompetence at this place is mind blowing!

The Danbury Chipotle is poorly managed. The tables are usually filthy as is the restroom. This lack of attention to customer facing aspects of the dining experience, make me very worried about kitchen and cook hygiene. On the upside, the food is ample and tasty. Please clean up the shop!

My review isn’t going to surprise anyone who’s read the others. When is Chipotle corporate going to wake up and get involved? It’s 430pm on a Sunday afternoon with just 3 customers in the store. One guy is working hard taking food orders and managing the register. Three other employees are just standing around watching.
Meanwhile, the place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in days. Garbage is spilling out everywhere in the customer area. The kitchen has food scraps all over the tables and floor. You eat here at your own risk. See the pictures.

Holy Christ this place is gross. Staff just all hanging out blasting drake. All of the major food tubs depleted and/or stale looking. Guy in the back too busy dancing to add food to the grill. Drink section next to register all empty except for a single coke.
I ordered delivery from this location. They gave me undercooked rice, dark brown guacamole, and no guacamole for my bowl.
I called to see if I could get a refund and instead of getting my money back they only refunded the chips and guacamole and offered me a BOGO entrée for the bowl.
The only solution they had was to get me to spend more money? Bullshit.
Edit for correction. Still bullshit and I’m not talking to a bot through your online support. And for the owner, try not to use copy and pasted responses. At least pretend to give a shit and personalize it.

Big Chipotle fan but this particular location was disappointing to say the least. I was passing through CT and figured I’d stop for a bite and what a mistake it was. Food had no taste and was just unappetizing. Also, the place is filthy! I understand guests make the mess which is a shame but there was nobody around cleaning up or wiping down tables. The floor was sticky, too. Which made me think if the place isn’t clean imagine what’s going on with the food… 😳
