Went for the first time to give a try and was very disappointed, the cheese bread tastes awful, pastel soaked in old oil, I ordered coxinhas and one had meat and not chicken, besides they had a weird color and also smelled like old oil. The place was totally empty and I should have walked away, big regret.

Wow. I haven’t been here in years. Thought it was just rolls. A full service eatery. It’s incredible.

Brigadeiro was dry and waste of money as we threw away the whole thing, which was way overpriced. The woman who served us wasn’t very welcoming or happy to be there.

Absolute waste of money. Got two items. One slice of cake, and 4 medium brigadeiros. My total was $17 somehow. Asked for a receipt and this is what I got… a piece of paper telling me the total. Brigadeiros were old and hard to bite. Tasted horrible and dry. Carrot cake was dry and didn’t taste good. Very expensive for old products.

Honestly I am highly upset. I went in there this morning for a water $2.50 and three little coxinha minis that she charged me $2.40. I then went to padaminas right after where their prices for a big water was $2.50 and a big coxinha cost me $3.00. Also they charge you $10 for a regular juices at elefant where at padaminas I was charged $7. The bacon egg and cheese is about $10 it’s highly taxed and not even that great. How do you guys charge so much when you have other bakeries selling it for less, way better and way tastier. They need to update their menu. What a waste of money this place is. It used to be a great spot and decent prices but after the new management it went down hill.

I swear I didn't want to do this review, but unfortunately I have no other option, the food came with a lot of salt, once with hair and today in the three meals the chicken was smelly, the first time we spoke to a lady and she said she would talk to the owner, then there was hair, and today 06/27/2025 the chicken is spoiled, smells, this is absurd, not to mention the cakes are all old, before it was very good, I bought a lot, every time I went I spent at least 80 dollars, this is a public health case, if someone reports you, it will be a problem

Elefant bakery has horrible customer service.
Went there after being invited back to make up for a wrong, they didn't know why I was there, they asked for my phone number to call once a supervisor came in and no call back....
Never giving them another chance
Extremely friendly people and service. Everyone had a smile on their face. The food was so fresh and delicious. I think I ordered something they normally make later in the afternoon but someone offered to make it for me anyway. It was worth the wait as the sandwich was DELICIOUS! I'm not sure what it's called but it's in the picture I shared. The servers in the front were very friendly and asked me how I liked my food. The coffee was also really good. I'm definitely going back. I even ordered an extra sandwich for my wife and a dulce de leche donut for later. I just wanted to try everything they have.
I was there shortly before they closed. Although there were no other customers there, the staff was busy cleaning the restaurant thoroughly. The establishment caters to Brazilian customers + their food/bakery preferences. Frankly, my Spanish is poor + my Portuguese is even worse; I experienced a little communication difficulty.
The dining area is spacious + the parking is plentiful. The building is free standing + set back from the street. If you don't know what you're looking for, you wouldn't even notice the building.
I always like to scope out a restaurant's menu before I go. However, even though they theoretically have a web site, it provides almost no information: no menu, no pricing...odd.
This business most definitely is geared to a niche market. Personally, I'm not interested in the foods they offer, so I shan't return. Yet, I highly recommend it to people who are looking for homemade, comfort food from their own culture. Food is plentiful and fairly priced.
Parking: No painted lines for the parking spots, but there's plenty of room.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to negotiate a wheelchair both in the parking area and inside the building.
