Pretty bad experience going to the Danbury location for the first time. Figured I could go watch a football game Sunday morning, and was initially refused to change one of the three televisions that were showing a canine event to one of the football games. I was advised the manager would not change the channel. When I asked the server to to ask the manager again the manager changed all three stations to the same football game, but then walked out and said that she would not be able to change it to the game that I wanted, stating that they only show six games at a time. I asked to verify if they had the Sunday ticket and she just reassured me that they only show six games at time. The restaurant wasn’t very packed and she didn’t offer any alternate solution so I decided to just walk out and go to another place right across the street. Not sure if this is company policy or what was preventing her from changing one of the TVs, but either way I know that the Ellicit brewing company in Danbury is not going to be an option for me moving forward, when I’m looking to go out to watch a sporting event. Pretty disappointing.

A little overwhelming at first. Food was amazing and HOT. When we went it was self serve order from your phone, not sure if this is a permanent thing. It's not dark and the atmosphere was great. Does get packed and kids are welcomed. Great place for a lunch date/get together for a few drinks.

Wow, what an experience hosting our annual company holiday party at Elicit. The entire staff was amazing. The food was incredible with many options to choose from. We highly recommend renting out the back area for your next party. We also had a casino rental company come in with tables and games and there were plenty of room.

Went for trivia night last night for the first time at Elicit!! They have a huge selection of drinks, which is obviously important for a brewing company. We were a little surprised that there weren’t any servers and you order your food and drinks at the counter. You can also order with the QR code at the table and pick it up yourself, which is what we ended up doing. The food came out pretty fast, maybe 10–15 minutes.
We ordered the crispy shrimp w. Yum yum sauce, sweet chili wings, and the spinach and artichoke dip with chips. The shrimp was definitely the BEST. The flavor was perfect. It was spicy as hell, but I’d 100% get it again. I'm pretty sure you can opt out of the chili spice. The wings had great flavor too. The spinach and artichoke dip wasn’t a smooth consistency & while I didn't mind that, my friend did. It was very chunky, and the chips were VERY salty. I’ve seen other people mention the saltiness, so it seems like something they should take into account. It was also pretty cold inside, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars.
The beer was absolutely DELICIOUS. I had the friends with benefits lager, just the drip coffee porter, and the over cerealized peanut butter stout. All three were 10/10 without a doubt. The staff behind the counter were super friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back to give it a second try.

Booked a party in Danbury for 30 people. You are not really served rather guests have to go to bar to get drinks. Front of house - lovely and helpful. Nice party setup and clean up and bartenders all nice. Overall atomosphere is fun. The food - 1 out of 10 from everyone who attended. It was salty enough to make people feel ill. Do not book parties here unless the people you are hosting don't want to eat. Entrees pork and chicken parm not edible- literally put all entrees into the garbage. It was an expensive and embarassing waste. Event planner never followed up to see how party went. I reached with feedback which will amount to probably nothing. Save the money and go somewhere else or you will be embarrassed when your party guests all leave hungry and meet up at a different restaurant.

Booked a party and appetizers were meh- entrees so bad all put into the garbage. Very expensive lesson that day and 28 people let a party hungry. Atmosphere is fun but DO NOT book parties. Not worth it.
Don’t get shamed into tipping for self-service food!
Good beer selection and fun casual atmosphere. Good for large groups where you don’t want to deal with splitting the check. Lot of outdoor seating, though the view is of the parking lot, reminding one of Texas, rather than a place in New England.
The self-service model especially for the food isn’t the smoothest. Wastes a lot of time in lines that you could be spending with friends. It is also at the farthest end of the hall, making it a chore. The tipping expectation at the food order after you’ve done all the walking, standing, waiting and carrying is not acceptable at all, especially given the prices of the food items. This was the biggest turnoff for me. I felt forced to tip, but will not be doing it going forward. Be prepared for this when you go, don’t get shamed into tipping which is the point of these setups.

Nice to have a venue like this locally; great beers, full bar and live music. In the warmer months there's outdoor seating, but it would be nice is they have fire pits.
Food is okay.
Before 8pm be prepared: Danbarian's like to bring there little kids here like it's a Chucky Cheese.
Otherwise - all good.

This could be the ugliest restaurant in Ct. It makes buffalo wild wings look like Le Circque. Loud and full
Of screaming little kids this place is meant for decent beers and hot pretzels. The food is low end and you are self serving as it relates to picking up your food. It’s really not a restaurant but more of a quick service. Deli counter. Not for people that want a proper meal experience. Mediocre burgers. Sloppy quesadillas The Cereal beer has peanut butter notes and is worthwhile but otherwise this b
Place is just a lame beer hall.

For the love of god please replace this speaker. Also if I order a $20 drink id appreciate glassware.
I’m only giving four stars because we were super disappointed to learn that happy hour has been reduced and now ends at 5 pm, rather than 6. Not many people are done with work until 5, and changing this now makes it so that we cannot take advantage. Additionally, they have cut down the happy hour beers and food choices. Otherwise, the food is consistently very good, and staff are all very friendly and efficient. Please change happy hour back to ending at 6 pm!
