Do not recommend. Food was not great, service was lacking. Very difficult to make the turn to get into the restaurant.

I stumbled upon this place a year ago as it is attached to a dog friendly hotel ( La Quinta). Honestly, I have been thinking about the great dinner I had there for a year. I returned this evening and had the same great meal. (eggplant parmigiana panini with a side salad). Mike, my waiter, did a perfect job. Just the right amount of attention.Fabulous meal. This restaurant is just waiting to be discovered.Vegetarian options: I tend towards vegetarian and there are great options.

Got the spaghetti and meatballs. Meatball were cold in the middle and the spaghetti was so hot it's like it came out of microwave. Spaghetti sauce was very salty.

Nope. Sadly no compare to ridgefield. Service was not good. Too many basic things missed to name. The food was just ok. Too much sauce drowned the pasta dish, not much flavor. Not sure what is going on with this one. Not busy so can't blame that.

The place was dead; they ran out of certain food items. Service was slow- however I will say the waitress was very nice. One dish was very salty. Overall my birthday dinner there was a bust!

I had a waitress named lily, she was petite and short couldn't have been more than 19 years old. She said she was newer wich I understand! What I don't understand is how rude she was. She was one of the rudest individuals I've ever experienced in general let alone in customer service. She swore at one point when I just asked for more water. Everything else was fine but this waitress ruined the entire experience for me.
We've been to Gallo's in Danbury many many times since they opened in 2022. It has been our go-to place as it's been consistent, reasonably priced, good food, great service and never that crowded that we have to wait for a table.However, since approximately August/September 2023, we started to notice a difference. They now seem to be understaffed, bread isn't fresh, run out of food and have completely cut some of the side dishes that used to accompany an entree. The quality of food has gone down. They staff remains inviting and friendly. We are concerned Gallo's isn't going to survive and will continue to cut corners resulting in a sub-par dining experience.

The restaurant looked nice and the waitress was kind but the service was very poor, we had to ask for many things like bread, were told they were out of drinks, and were almost served others' dishes. The food was not bad but was beyond basic and not cooked properly.

We had an 80th and Sweet 16 combination party for my Father-In-Law and daughter at Gallo Family and I am so happy we did. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The team took care of us with such care and diligence from the moment we began the planning process. Lindsay and Christie were amazing and really made us all feel welcomed and comfortable. The back room was perfect; the sound system and projector were a total added bonus and brought pictures from the past alive. Our next party will be held there again because we were made to feel like we were a part of the Gallo Family!
I only completed the box for food is good, because we have been there many times, and enjoyed ourselves. We had a reservation, they sat us over near the bar, and waited and waited and waited. I had to ask The Botanist twice if we could get service. She said they were understaffed, and if they had a large party. It didn't look very busy to us. I finally asked her for the manager and she said she was it. I said, can you please just get us a couple of drinks and some bread? About 10 minutes later we finally got our drinks. Asked for bread two more times, and then, when she finally came back, we asked for the check, because we had I had enough! She said the drinks were on the house, and yes, they should've been. Very, very disappointing.
