The worst chicken soup I’ve ever had.

The food was way too expensive, the presentation and quality of the food did not add up to the price. I ordered a medium jerk chicken, the jerk sauce was horrible and the chicken should have been cooked more thoroughly. Not a recommendation for those who have an exquisite taste in Jamaican food. Hopefully they improve because they seem like really nice people.

Don’t usually comment but such a gem in Connecticut. There are only 2 Jamaican places here and it’s run by the sweetest sister. Oxtail was amazing, patties are a must try!!

The food is hit or miss. One time it’s great, another time it’s very salty or the meat is not tender.

First, be warned, not all food is available upon walk-in. Most entrees have to be ordered in advance, cook-to-order, which was a shame as I was seeking callaloo & saltfish. However we adjusted, and selected from the ready-made food, which included jerk chicken, curry goat, brown stew chicken, patties, etc. The curry goat was well cooked-- a little light on the curry but tender & flavorful, & I appreciated the extra gravy over my rice. The patty & cabbage were fine, but the collards were inedible-- we all tasted it. Waaay too spicy. Like, kill dead spicy.

Best oxtail on earth
I love the cabbage and rice!
The food was tasty and the portions were large. They have a good variety of food. The location size is small and the owners and workers were very friendly.
