Typical hotel lobby restaurant. Food is basic, but good, menu is extremely limited which leads me to believe it is food service. Eight taps running.

We arrived a little later than expected from the airport. We didn’t want to go back out after a long day so we decided to try this casual hotel restaurant. The food and drinks were great!

I ate dinner here as I was staying at the Crown Plaza where it is located. It was the Monday night of the Memorial Day weekend, and the place was empty: I was the only person in the place. Despite this, service was not the best and a little unattentive. I had the cuban sandwich as I wasn't too hungry and it was fine. However, it was served with fries which were cold. How does that happen when you have a single customer in your restaurant? I would come here again if staying at the hotel, but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Many cheers ........

Crowne Plaza's Hat City Tavern, Danbury...The food, is delicious. The waitress was lovely. The drinks great and most of the atmosphere relaxing... except for the lighting! The light bulbs and overall lighting in this establishment drives me buggy. Too bright, too in your face and for God's sake not good for dining. PLEASE, FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL, CHANGE THE BULBS OR GET A DIMMER! THANKS!! Sorry, I'd be remiss without mentioning the smell of cigarette smoke coming from smokers going outside to the outdoor seating area for a quick smoke. Very dissatisfying to have to smell this every time this door opens and someone needs a cig.

Surprisingly good food. On the pricier side but my best advice is go on Sundays. They have $5.00 wings all day! It's a hefty portion of wings and they are good. I'm not sure if this is only during football season, but when I stayed at the Crowne Plaza I enjoyed the $5.00 wings a few Sundays!

Ok - I usually don't expect much from hotel restaurants but this one was really good. Live music on a Wednesday (guy with a guitar with a great voice) was a fun surprise. Burgers were satisfying. Our server was extremely nice and efficient. Food was slow but the server explained that there was a lot of room service orders and we weren't in any hurry. Pretty decor. If I was eating alone, I'd feel comfortable in this space.

Hotel has potential to be very nice, but it needs remodeling. Hat City is an OK place to stop for a quiet drink.

Inconsistent quality of food. just found out this Hotel, even though I am a Spire member leased out the entire hotel to a Hebrew event which meant shutting down Kitchen and bar for 2 weeks to clean out and Kosherize for the next 2 weeks with ZERO notification to me. This is my 3rd attempt in good faith to give the Hotel a good review for my company. It wont happen;
