Restaurant owners decided to closed the Danbury, CT location. They opened an online only store selling goods from Spain....spainathome.net. Open - same owners, sister restaurant in Chappaqua, NY - Ibiza kitchen (76 King St. 914-458-5044).

Tonight was our 47th wedding anniversary and since we loved Ibiza on our first visit, we came back to celebrate our special day. My cocktail was a Passion Margarita, fruit flavor to alcohol ratio was perfect. My husband had a ginger ale. We shared 5 tapas and each one was delectable. The first was a Ceviche with shrimp and bay scallops with plantain chips. It was served beautifully in a stemmed cocktail glass. In addition to the generous portions of seafood, there was a tasty dressing of citrus juices and thin strips of mango, cucumber, red onion and tomato. Next we shared a plate of 6 slices of thinly sliced, toasted bread topped with olive oil, pureed tomato, garlic, and sea salt. Each piece was topped with a slice of serrano ham. Our third tapa was Croquetas Queso, Iberian cheese croquettes with quince sauce. Fourth was Croquetas Almeja, Clam Chowder croquettes, crispy on the outside and creamy and delicious on the inside. Finally, we enjoyed Mejillones Azafaran, a generous bowl of mussels steamed in a white wine sauce with garlic, shallots, parsley and saffron. Each and every bite of our meal was scrumptious. My dessert was Crema Catalan, topped with a crisp crust of carmelized sugar. My husband had the Tres Leches cake which was topped with fresh strawberries. We ended our Ibiza experience with coffee. Our hostess came out after clearing the table with two small glasses. Each shot glass was a mix of pineapple and orange juice with a bit of vodka. These were gratis as a celebration of our anniversary! A delightful touch of hospitality. Our servers were grateful and happy to see us on their first day of serving in over two months and we were delighted to be there,

Our daughter-in-law knows how much we like Ibiza. She and her husband and children have also visited from Fairfield and liked the food. We really like the atmosphere, the nice long bar, the original tapas they put together- everything is excellent all the way to dessert. Also this is where we were introduced by the owner to Felipe II - a wonderful cognac! But most of all is the service! From the bartender to all the servers- they are fabulous! Ignacio, the owner, would greet you, make sure everything was in order and then shake hands as we were leaving, made you feel a part of all this

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous Easter dinner, picked up curb side. Thanks for continuing to provide the most tasty and beautifully prepared food. As in your restaurant, each plate was stunning and delicious. happy Easter.

Saturday night 6PM, restaurant more than 1/2 empty. Something must have changed. I can't believe how many good reviews there are for this restaurant. I was REALLY disappointed. Gambas al ajilla the worst I ever ate. Mussels had no taste. Cod croquettes were more than ok (but not great) and daily empanada was acceptable. $85 for 2 with 4 small plates, two drinks and tip.....just not even close to a good deal, moreso food was barely acceptable.

This was a shot in the dark as we stopped in the hotel next door on our way back North from SC. What a great find! My daughter has been wanting to try a tapas restaurant and begged us to go. She has been studying Spanish for 8 years and is very much into learning about the culture and spoke Spanish with the waiter so fluently-I was so impressed getting to hear her actually use the language. The food was fabulous! So great trying so many different things-we went as a family of 4 so we all agreed to share plates. Each one was unique and so delicious and plated perfectly. They brought out one at a time so you could savor the flavor. My husband and I each has a glass of wine with the food and it too was good. I also see they have happy hour specials if you sit at the bar which included drink and food specials. The dessert was to die for- the crema Catalana was so yummy and the croquettes de chocolate- omg- simply the best thing EVAH!

We love Ibiza Tapas and always enjoy our meal here. The tapas are all creative and delicious, our favorite being the clam chowder croquettes. As with any tapas restaurant, things do add up quickly ordering many small plates, but the quality of the food and the excellent services makes the price tag well worth it!

The food was well prepared, served carefully and typical of presentations we experienced in Spain. Suggest starting with four plates.

My husband and I were lucky enough to find this restaurant by accident. Tapas were just what we needed after traveling for most of the day. E sat at the bar and enjoyed visiting with the bartender as much as the tapas.

Me and my family travel to Spain this summer, we absolutely loved Ibiza. It is authentic Spanish food, with quality ingredients a huge variety of tapas. We try almost half of the menu. We loved the txacolina wine, not too many restaurants have this wonderful white wine from the Basque Country. Ole to all the Ibiza Team. Thank you for everything and we will see you very soon.

Good service, few diners...and as the meal progressed I can see why. Ordered sea food salad, marinated tuna and shrimp tapas...they all tasted alike. and the anchovy toast was tasteless and unimaginative. The bill was the biggest surprise of all...over 100 big ones for the two of us. Very disappointing...travel down the road for an eating experience
