On of the best if not the best Deli in CT. I was told about Lou’s deli from a co-worker a few months ago and have been getting at least one sandwich from here a week. 100% would recommend!

My family and I really appreciate a good deli and Lou's is at the top of the list. I'm so glad to have found this Deli after moving to Connecticut five years ago. The bread is phenomenal sandwiches and catering food is so delicious. My wife and I continue to trust Lou's Deli to cater all of our large events/gatherings and will continue to do so because we can count on Lou and his team to not only provide delicious food but also phenomenal customer service, timing, and care. Really great.

Delicious food and excellent service… I come here often, as does the company I work for, and I just have to say I’ve never had a single complaint about anything. Lou is the best and I love that he is so present in his business! He cares. Always right there to speak to every single patron.
Additionally, my sandwich is always killer. Great service, excellent bread (which is so important to a deli, I mean.. that’s the make it or break it tbh,) and the meat is always fresh. Can’t go wrong!

Stopped in on Friday for a quick lunch. Gentleman at the counter was friendly, helped us right away. I got the club and my friend got the Italian. Both sandwiches were great, will be back in next time I’m in town.

I’ve always wanted to stop in here and finally did about 2 weeks ago. Ordered the Italian Combo and it was fantastic. Today I went back for the White Russian sandwich. That did not disappoint. I’m on a mission to run through all of Lou’s speciality sandwiches.

He didn't wash his hands or put on gloves and touched the bread/meat. I watched him touch the pen/pad of paper before touching the bread/meat. He then touched the register/money and then he was on his phone and still never washed his hands. I won't return here and I think I'll let the health department know. Update - The guy came over to our table and apologized. He said he washed his hands when he saw us walking in but I didn't see that. He offered to make a new sandwich for us but I declined the offer. I appreciate that he tried to fix the problem but we won't return.
I was looking for a Deli near me that I have never been to. Wow! Bread was definitely from the Bronx or a very very good copy.
Had the Philly Cheese Steak...absolutely delicious. Foxon soda and Deep River chips. Clean, fast and great price. You can see the love in here. Impressed, will be back.
