Nicos was an old standby and favorite. Now under new ownership and the concept is all mixed up and the food isnt what it used to be…maybe if theyd just focus on a less extensive menu.?.?.?.

The food and the service here is really good! Personally, I really enjoyed their pizza. They were cooked perfectly, and the crust was really good.

We did an online order and after 30minutes past the delivery time called. After the fourth call and getting know where. A message comes on saying the decided to take a weeks time off.Maybe next time they should think about turning off their online order system. Was so looking forward to it, now I get stuck with canned soup. Thanks East Meets West

Wasn't sure what to expect for a half - hibachi, half -pizza joint... Very pleasantly surprised! Large portions, very tasty, and quick. Will definitely be coming back !I got the filet full hibachi -- med rare (it was perfect!). Will update once I try the pies !

I have been here twice. The first time was disappointing but I wanted to give it another chance. I went there this evening and had a lobster pizza. It was almost In edible. The fish had a smell to it and did not taste right. As I type this review, my stomach is doing somersaults. I rarely post negative reviews but this place is very deserving of one. Unfortunately, I will never go there again.

The pizza is perfection; customize one after your first try! And, the chicken wings are so much better than store frozen; even Buffalo Wild Wings for that fact! A true icon of downtown Danburians. Definitely a repeat customer; and I'm a good judge of great eats!

Nico's East meets West was an amazing experience. It was a combination of Asian cuisine and Italian cuisine mix together. The noodles have the perfect combination of salt, sauce and noodles then with the perfect amount of veggies mixed in. The fried mozzarella stickes were a perfect combination of garlicky and herby They were fried delicious crispy and crunchy. The dumplings were quite the experience with a nice crunchy outside and a nice chewy texture on the inside. When we ordered the pizza we were not expecting a whole lot but when we started to eat it or mouth watered. We ate the whole entire thing and wanted more. The people there were very friendly, and absolutely amazing customer service.First time seeing these cuisines mixed together. This would be my favorite pizza/habaci place by far.

I ordered a large pizza with half pepperoni salad hot wings ranch & blue cheese only to get a pizza delivered to me with pepperoni on the whole pie instead of half being that I don’t eat pork. The blue cheese had oil floating at the top of it & it smelled bad. So I called them back to let them know what happened they ended up replacing my pizza for free but forgot the blue cheese for my hot wings. ? I definitely miss nicos.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Delicious pie. The lunch special 2 slices with pop $6.99.If I were to stay in town I’d come back to try Asian flavors. The wings looked very good.Try this, new owners, same recipes and very friendly and tasty.

So happy Nico’s is open! I have only had this place once previously but since they opened up again I am there a lot, I love their wings and fried rice & Hibachi is great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Hibachi vegetables are not worth the money. It’s made up of mainly mushrooms & onions. Mushrooms should not go in hibachi. I’ve never even seen mushrooms in hibachi. The container they put the veggies in should not be used when they deliver. The liquids leaked out to the whole bottom of the paper bag and leaked all over my carpets. I didn’t realize it until I took everything out of the bag. Nothing comes as asked. You want extra anything you won’t get it. This is the second time in one week my order came wrong or messed up/not as described or missing items. Was told 20 minutes waited 45 but that’s the least of the issues. I didn’t complain the first time because things happen but every single time I order there something comes wrong. Their food is okay but preparation is terrible. (Soggy eggplant even without sauce, soggy tomatoes on salad, Burnt garlic knots, no mozz on salad I can go on but won’t) Manager will however credit future order which I appreciate. And salad is a decent size and great price. Aside from my complaints, The delivery driver is always happy and outgoing and very kind, he gets 5 stars. Hopefully next time I order won’t be the last and I can update the review because reviews are everything these days.

this is no longer nicos. they kept the name but the food is like cardboard. they managed to make broccoli inedible and it took more than an hour to get us our food (two pizzas) with one other party in store. they also charged almost $50 for it. do not recommend

Ordered takeout. Not set up to take credit cards. They said come in 15 minutes. 60 minutes, still waiting. Pizza really truly bad. Good crust, if it had been warm, but lousy cheese, and toppings both over and under cooked. They managed to make brococlli sauted with garlic and lemon inedible. A feat worthy of a fifties housewife bride joke

Amazing pizza. I have ordered from there several times. Having lived in NYC for over 10 years we can admittedly be pizza snobs, but these guys are legit. Ample toppings. Fast, polite service. Fantastic prices. Best in Danbury.
