Not good at all. My first clue should have been when the Diet Coke tasted old. Definitely would not go back. There was hair in my soup just overall not a good experience.

Great food good prices great service
Old Oak has been around as long as I can remember, and I hope it stays that way. The food is underrated. Great Portuguese food. Nice bar set up. Has outdoor seating. Classic old school bar feel. No thrills, a real bar & grill.

2nd time in Danbury in a few months and decided to try another Portuguese Restrant. We ordered the kale soup for an appetizer and it was delicious. For the main meal, I ordered the Portuguese steak and my wife ordered the PORTUGUESE BACALHAU À BRÁS (SALT COD AND POTATOES). Wow both meals were delicious and filled the large plates they use. The salt cod was big enough to feed a familyof three. I would strongly recommend this restaurant if you like Portuguese food and well worth the trip.

The girl who answers the phone hung up on me twice, and I could actually hear her go to hang up after Answering the phone with an attitude lol soo if that’s how they want their restaurant run, more power to them.
