Panda House provides nice Chinese food in a good setup.

We went on Valentine's day for lunch and it was getting crowded.

The Scallion Pancakes were quite good. Nice and warm, may be a little oily which is to be expected and the sauce was right on the money.

Chicken with Garlic Sauce was good. More healthy than I have seen.

I had the Tangerine Beef, which had that tangerine sauce on top which was really to my liking. The person described it as as fried, but I missed out that it is deep fried. But, I would call this deep fried beef quite nice, especially bcos of the sauce.

Nice place to sit and talk. Made a note to try the Japanese food there next time.

This review is based on takeout. I was craving authentic salt and pepper fish, and this was just okay. The batter is too thick. The seasoning was spot on, but I’m not trying to eat fish and chips here. The crab rangoon was average. I guess Panda House is not a reliable authentic Chinese food; you might as well drive an extra 40 minutes to Milford or New York if authenticity matters. This is an Americanized Chinese food, disguising itself as authentic. Disappointed. Will not be back. I was hopeful I could find an authentic Chinese joint in this town, but it’s a big let down.

Panda House is waste of money & Time!!!!!!!!!

The food is not even that great to begin with. My experience with this restaurant is extremely negative along with the fact the service is extremely poor which I will further elaborate within this review.

I’ll start off by saying the following; obviously if I am going to get lunch or dinner I would want my food the way I asked for it, not the way any restaurant wants to give it to me & it’s not a charity case either and I expect to receive what I have asked for not what a restaurant understands that I should get!!!!

Another factor is how is it possible that I am going to have lunch at this restaurant; which I specifically stated I wanted to order & from what menu bracket I wanted it from; Which was the lunch special menu and from the looks of it the owner decided to give me what he wanted which is not ok especially if I am paying my money for my food not like I asked them to do a charity case with me just so we are clear… It’s not like this food was given to me because I am homeless, nor broke, which is clearly not the case.

In addition to that how dare the owner yell at me, talk back to me and then decide to give me what they understand that I should receive as my lunch. When you own a business the customer has their rights period!!!! It doesn’t matter what type of restaurant and/or business it is a client asks for something you will give them what they asked for especially if it’s not for free!!!!!

Furthermore, I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT TO GET ANY TYPE OF MEAL, LET ALONE NOT EVEN A DRINK!!!!

BELIEVE ME I WISH I WAS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH THEY WOULD’VE GONE DONW IN A HEART BEAT AND I WOULD FAILED THEM FOR EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE, FOR TALKING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY ARE GOING IN THERE TO ASK For FREE FOOD AND ALSO FOR OVER CHARGING ON MEALS WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO!!!!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST I WILL BE REACHING OUT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU & COMPLETE A COMPLAIN FORM BECAUSE OF THEIR BAD BUSINESS, EXTREMELY NEGATIVE IMPACT FOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & IMPORTANTLY FOR OVER CHARGING JUST BECAUSE!!!

I SUGGEST FOR ANY ONE TO DO THEIR RESEARCH ON THIS BUSINESS BEFORE EVEN THINKING OR WANTING TO ORDER FROM THERE
RESTAURANT & I HOPE NO ONE ELSE HAS TO GO THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

I hate to leave negative reviews, because the food here is delicious. I’ve been coming here for years but over last 6 months the portion sizes have gotten smaller and smaller. I understand cost for everything have gone up but why make the portions smaller than what your customers are used to? I don’t mind paying a few dollars more, but the containers that used to be filled to the top are now 3/4 or less of the way full. I rather pay a little bit more and get my moneys worth then pay the same amount for less.

Panda House offers Chinese Cantonese and Hunan in a pleasant sit down environment. The decor is simple, elegant and tasteful. Hot tea and water was provided. We were never asked for our drink order.

Service was fair but not outstandingly excellent or poor.

The food was very good and reminded me of how Chinese food used to taste when I was younger. I ordered lamb two ways, the portion was quite small for $20. Their homemade dumplings were excellently filled with flavorful meat. The crab Rangoons were crispy with a pleasant not too sweet filling. Neither weren piping hot when they got to our table.

We were there for a early dinner but the dining area filled up quickly as we ate and talked. We didn't feel rushed despite.

They do have tables with the carousel which is perfect for sharing with a crowd.

If you’re looking for “old school” Chinese food- this is your place! Hot tea on the table and some exceptional fare. A golden brown egg roll with tons of diced pork and the best ramen soup in town. Creamy broth a fried egg and chock full of sliced pork. Meaty crispy pork ribs that are worth the trip themselves.
Very quiet atmosphere. Good for older folks that don’t like too much stimulation.

$2.50 more for an extra onion??????
How much couple of tablespoons of extra onions cost?? 10 cents ??? Seriously????? Been ordering here for years, but this place has turned greedy and ridiculous. Prices through the roof, portions shrinking, and now they’re nickel-and-diming loyal customers over a spoonful of onion. Keep the onions — and keep the attitude. I’m done. No more business from me!
Greedy disgusting people!

Can’t go wrong here. Food is good as well as service. My wife and I eat here frequently. The best pork fried rice around, sesame chicken and sesame beef are great as well. Good portions.

We paid $84!!
The wonton soup was so bad and it had iceberg lettuce in it.
The shrimp was not fresh at all
No napkins or utensils
The chicken wings tasted like Walmart party wings.
Only 2 fortune cookies for 4 people.
