Panera Bread Reviews
I think this was my last Panera experience. I left just hoping my family’s food was prepared in a sanitary way. It was not busy at all but the table we sat at was filthy so I needed to get someone to wipe it down. The soup was cold and the bread for my sandwich was stale. I go to the bathroom with my sons, ages 3 and 1, and we are tip toeing around toilet water all over the floor. Panera Bread provides a good lunch option with hot food and calorie counts on the menu, all for under 15 dollars. The environment is clean, with plenty of space both inside and outside for seating. Recent experiences, however, indicate a decline in food quality and customer service. Service can be quick but sometimes feels disinterested, and staff like Gabby are exceptions, known for being friendly, accommodating, and making visits enjoyable. The new Panera Bread in Danbury is bright and spacious but has eliminated the booths, which some customers appreciated for privacy. The menu includes a decent number of vegetarian options, and parking is ample right outside. It is also suitable for kids and accessible by wheelchair, although the ramp's location is not very convenient. Some customers note that tips are expected when ordering, and others feel that the pick 2 combo and newer menu items may not be worth the price, giving a cafeteria-like impression. Overall, it remains a popular spot, though it seems to have lost some of its original charm after the Pandemic.
