Because I had a gift card (long story, but I paid for it), met a friend for lunch at the new Danbury, CT Panera. (We'd had a great time at the old one in Dec.) Dreadful. Small. Crowded. Too hot when doors closed and too cold when they opened, which was often since it was lunchtime. And no place to sit where one could get away from that. No personal space. Half the tables are too high for me to sit at. Almost all the other ones were "shared space". Had THE most anemic bowl (and hardly a bowl) of French Onion Soup ever. Mostly missing the onions. Was I nourished? Yes. Did I enjoy time with my friend? Yes. Might I be giving away the other $50 on the card? Yes. Not even sure take out would be better. One son opened the first Panera in Brookfield almost 20 years ago, and it used to be my favorite place to go. The 2 they closed were better than this one by far. Do not recommend.

Sandwiches were delicious. The only thing I don't understand nowadays. People want tips to take your order and take your money. They're not waiting on you.

The new Panera bread just opened in Danbury just across the street from the old one. It is bright, spacious and very clean, but I was disappointed to see that they eliminated the booths. I liked the privacy that the booths offered.

Like most other Panera Breads, as expected. Service was fast if disinterested. Food was good. Lots of space with a variety of seating, inside and out. Reasonable prices.
Vegetarian options: A decent number of vegetarian options.
Parking: Plenty of parking right outside.
Kid-friendliness: Good for kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair ramp is by the Petco entrance, at least 40 yards from the front door, so not ideal.

I was greeted with with love and respect by a Young man named Austin. His hard work and effort for a young man his age is extremely impressive. He also makes sure the customers food is right and ready to go. Great employee

The crew is very friendly EXCEPT for the manager Tim--Yikes! He seems like he hates his job and is so miserable to deal with anytime we go there.

Been here a few times for lunch. Food is good. Always hot. Love the calorie counts on the menu. Can get out easily for under 15. Could be less with a little planning. Everyone who works there is also very nice.

Very disappointed. I went Thursday night at 8pm and ordered a soup and sandwich. When I got home and opened my bag I had a deconstructed sandwich with no bottom piece of bread. It's as if they took the condiments of the sandwich and threw it in the wrapper and wrapped it. I ordered the wild rice soup and I was given a chicken noodle soup. If you order to go recommend on checking your food in the restaurant before leaving or just don't eat here at all at night.
On way home, long day and stopped here for their food. Food was good as usual!

This is nothing against this location specifically, all their locations are standardly awful. Can't remember the last time coffee wasn't emptey... or full but not hot, or the milk or sugar are out ... just sayin it's pretty bad service all the way around. And then for the food... lololol... not even close to worth the price, everything is 30% overpriced period.
