I first saw this restaurant on Instagram yesterday and immediately placed an order to pick up. The place is well decorated and my food was ready when I got there. I ordered 1/2 chicken, rice, beans and yucca fries. The chicken was absolutely delicious. I'm from NY and Malecon is one of my favorite restaurants. This place rivals Malecon and I'm so glad that I don't have to drive far to get amazing chicken! The sides were good as well but the chicken was the star of the show. Can't wait to go again.

We went in for Taste of Danbury, although we'd been meaning for the longest time to get down there. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is very friendly. We had the Radioactive Wings and the Talk To the Ham, both were out of this world. I highly recommend this spot.

Always a great spot for a cold night dinner. Chicken is very flavorful, Cuban was deliciously pressed, onion rings were huge, beans tasteful and yucca fries perfectly executed. They offer 4 signature sauces in varying levels of heat which is awesome for different palettes. Staff is very friendly and quick to help you. Great atmosphere!

To get straight to the point: The chicken is DELICIOUS. I stopped in after a busy day to order takeout and got a whole chicken with yuca fries and pinto beans. The chicken was juicy and tender and beautifully seasoned. The sauces were incredible, especially the yellow pepper one. The yuca fries were a bit stodgy -- cut too thick, maybe? The beans were soft and creamy but could have used a little more spice to my taste.Lots of reviews mentioned unfriendly service, which I didn't encounter. The place was empty when I went and the server was perfectly pleasant. I wouldn't say she went over the top in friendliness but we had a nice chat and we laughed together over something silly. I sat and waited for my order which came in less than the 10 minutes she told me, while many people came in for pickup. Seemed like lots of the pickup orders were repeat customers and one taste of the chicken told me why!

We’ve been regular customers even before they opened their separate location at Po-Yo, so it’s sad to say we won’t be coming back ever again. EVERY single time we’ve dined in the restaurant and picked up orders, the service is absolutely abismal. The people who work at this restaurant care very little about how their snotty attitudes could impact the success -or lack thereof- of the business. They disregard you completely, lounge around instead of serving customers, and respond rudely when asked simple questions. You’d think business is booming and busy with the way they seem too preoccupied to care, but the restaurant is dry as a desert every time we’re there. This surely will be yet another business we see fail and shut down in Danbury, not because the food is bad, but due to the overwhelming lack of class displayed by the waitresses. We do wish them the best.. but if the business owners knew what was good for them, they’d hire far better staff. If customer service isn’t your thing, don’t work in a customer service-related job.

I’ve been to this location 2 times . First time was ok at best in regards to service . Second time was yesterday night and I have to say it’s the worst service I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant . When I arrived there were 3 waitress all sitting down and they watched as I entered and as I approached not one of them greeted me or acknowledged me at all . I had to tell them I was there to pick up an order . One of them looked at me and said it’s not ready yet when I was told while I placed the order it would be 20 min . When I arrived it was already 30 min . So it should’ve already been done . When I mentioned it to the waitress she just said” I don’t work in the kitchen , you’ll just have to wait “ . They all seemed bothered and she just walked away with an attitude . I will not recommend anyone come to this place unless you want to be treated like garbage .
