i called to double check a order I had placed for 12 pm for a Christmas party 12/20/25 the gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude and quite inappropriate for to be the owner and for $52.00 order. After today I will never order from Sal's Pizza 🍕 🍕 ever again.

I ordered from Sal’s Pizza in Danbury and it was the worst food experience I’ve had.
The pizza was undercooked, with pale, raw dough. The “buffalo chicken” was tiny, hard, dry strips with no buffalo flavor at all. The calamari was the most disgusting I’ve ever had — rubbery and hard — and the mozzarella sticks weren’t even fried, just rock hard and inedible.
When I called, the response was rude: “What do you want me to do about it?” I was later told the driver refunded me and brought a replacement pizza — neither ever happened.
I had to go to the pizzeria myself to get a refund, and they only refunded the pizza, refusing to refund the calamari while falsely claiming the driver already gave it away.
Avoid this place. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We had delivery of Chicken cacciatore and its the best we've had in yrs! Giving it 5 stars. Has that homemade flavor and taste! Order some parmesan garlic bread with it too. Comes with a roll and salad but their parmesan garlic bread is great with it.
We've had their grinders, and large salads. This is the way one would expect out of grandma's/ nana's kitchen.
Try for dessert their chocolate mousse! Decadent. Oh anyone that likes chocolate ought try this! All desserts are great!

Im giving a 2 star not a 1 bc the workers there are not the owner so for me to bash a buisness to a 1 star wouldn't be fair. The spanish guy is rude. The only words he knows are wait and turns his back. The white guy behind the counter is also very rude as well nd for the price of 30 dollars for a pizza that is not great is crazy. I went inside to pick up a order I called in over the phone. I spoke to guy taking my payment telling him exactly what my order was again b4 paying. He gives me the wrong order and charges me for the wrong order. I politely walk inside and tell them that to be disregarded and disrespected while I wait to get the right food. Not only do i sit and wait on the side I then get asked to pay again. I said I paid for something so let's make sure I get my money I already gave back . He refunds the card i t

I moved to North East Tenn in July 1996 and miss this place alot. My husband loved the deep fried calzones. I don't know if they still sell that but if they do I recommend.
Like the pizza but they skimp on the meat. A buffalo chicken is $27 at least put one chicken breast that costs about $2 on it! I told him not to skimp on the meat but still does it every time. Keep in mind that original Sal sold the business, that why! For a $1 more I’ll buy from portabelos in Brookfield

Ordered a buffalo chicken pie ,did they forget to turn the oven on, no cheese ,I can't even see the chicken ,they should be embarrassed
Placed an order for pick up. A large sausage and mushroom pie, and a large tossed salad. I asked specifically that the pizza be cooked "LIGHTLY" . It was burned! Why would you serve that when it was specified "LIGHTLY". The tossed salad aside from the transparent cucumber slices which were limp and disgusting was so-so. Used to have pride in the food they serve. Apparently NOT the case any longer. We won't go back. Used to love them!
