This is the second time we ate here and it was so good! We had to wait about 30 minutes for chicken to cook but I like that they don’t rush it. The jerk sauce was zesty, the chicken was fall off the bone tender and the cabbage also good. Husband had Mac and cheese too. Portions are very generous. This is not your typical food court in the mall offering. Highly recommend

$18 for not much food, Jerk chicken not spicy, mac and cheese too salty, rice dryyyyyyyyy. The people giving this 5 stars have to be wonder bread kinda white.

Not sure why you'd eat at any of the other places in the food court.

Could use more heat (flavor), but otherwise perfectly cooked

The food has no flavor no spice at all taste as if the rice is Goya box rice with added all spice balls in it ALOT OF ALL SPICE BALLS. I chewed about 3 all spice balls in every bite I took no flavor no flavor no flavor !!!!!! They charge almost $4 for a mini drumstick fried piece of chicken …. Worse food and disappointment to the culture $21 dollars for a small plate really is $15 with tax but the extra 3 something for the mini drumsticks. If you have money to throw away or just feel like your in the mood to donate try it never again the way the food looked in the display surprised me on how it taste ! Literally no taste !!! Last thing the Steamed VEGETABLES?!?!! Nothing but RAW VEGETABLES hard like plastic !!!

My daughter and I tried Scotch Bonnet and really enjoyed our dishes (I got chicken stew, rice and peas and plaintains, she got oxtails, rice and peas and plaintains). The portions are generous (you definitely get more than 1 meal worth) so the somewhat high price was worth it. The woman cooking the food and the woman taking the orders were both so lovely. We will definitely go back!

Literally shocked by the negative reviews. This couldn’t be more authentic. The portion size is huge. Truly amazing to find a place in the fair mall offering such great food. The oxtail is falling off the bone, so tender.

Wanted the ox tails but they weren’t ready, had the jerk chicken and Mac and was pleasantly surprised on how much I liked it. Price for a small was $15~ and was plenty for me. The service was great and I will definitely be back.

The food is ok, nothing to write home about.. I just wish they had smaller portions, like a side order of just curry or stew chicken or rice.I don't want to pay that much to just throw away 1/2 my plate that's mostly rice!Oh and it's insane to pay $4 for 1 beef Patty!I supported that place a few times when they first opened, but it's not worth it for me.Almost $20 every time! For 1 order! And why sooo much rice with little sauce?Because I wasted so much money there for ok food, I was re motivated to cook my own curry and everything else.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting. I noticed the spot AFTER eating at the china wok. So we ordered food to take home... Excellent customer service, but the food was ok. The jerk chicken had NO chicken on the bones. She cut up pieces, but now I see it was just bones. So I had rice, cabbage, and bone pieces. I received more meat from China wok couple doors down. I wish her the best...meat is needed on the plate.

It’s a mall food court but the food is top notch. It really is homemade food and I can’t believe it’s available in Danbury, CT. They even have codfish and ackee and roti. Very authentic Jamaican food including goat. Very tasty food. Expensive but worth it. Gotta pay for quality.
