This is NOT a real Sonic in comparison to every other one I’ve been to where it’s always busy, have car hop lanes, full of employees and customers! This place is always empty and I’m starting to realize why between the food being ok at best yet cold and nothing like the other sonics in CT and other states! The only decent thing I’ve ordered so far is a cherry limeade. It’s like they slapped a Sonic sign up but are operating a completely different type of restaurant all together…
20 years ago I enjoyed pulling into a sonic drive-in. Sonic has always had that timeless feel my issue. Is that though it is timeless, you still have to update your facilities! The food is decent at times and if you’re in a hurry, the service can be a little bit slow even in non-peak times of the day. After recently visiting one, I think it’ll be about 20 years before I go back. Just my food for thought!

Inside is cold and sterile. I only ordered tots as food and they were good. The drinks are nice but more expensive than other locations. Despite having a poster in the window for Happy Hour promos, they do not honor these special offers. You can order on the app and get some discounts but not all. The customer service is lacking (takes a while for anyone to come to the register despite seeing you waiting) and the wait time for an order is quite slow even with no other customers.

I was overcharged for each drink I ordered. On the website they were listed as being 79 cents. I was charged 1.75.
I complained to the server, Shohel, but he merely laughed and said he just presses buttons and doesn’t set the prices. No apology was given, no refund was offered, no manager was called.
I complained online. The person I spoke to, “Joseph”, told me that the offer had expired. I told him this obviously wasn’t the case as the price was still listed on the website and had been at the time of the order. He kept saying the same thing, despite me frequently sending him proof that the price was current on the website.
He was rude and sarcastic.
Overall, a ridiculous experience. I would like a manager to respond to this review and supply me with an email address so we can discuss this further.
