This Subway location is nearby the university where I work and attend graduate courses. Sometimes, when school and work call, Subway is my best option at lunch. Subway locations vary because they are so ubiquitous, but this one is spotlessly clean. On top of that, I don't think I've ever seen a more perfectly stacked Subway sandwich at any other location I've ever been to. That is to say the food was perfectly prepared and the staff worked quickly to get me on my way at lunch time. Subway is a Connecticut company that serves people from many different backgrounds. When you enter a Subway in Connecticut and order food, you should expect the state to be home to the best franchises. This is -- other than a giant Subway I went to in Maine -- easily the best Subway I've seen in Connecticut. I wish there was a second location in downtown Danbury where the Subway sandwiches would be prepared like this. These ladies who are preparing the sandwiches should be more like regional managers, making the rounds to train other staffers. They did a fantastic job today and always when it comes to delivering a sub that has clearly been prepared with customer satisfaction in mind.

Wouldn’t accept my coupon even though it expired on the 24th of December and said good in all US stores. Person making my sandwich was very rude and she even put the wrong cheese on and said she would charge me more just for putting the right cheese on After her mistake. You guys need to reconsider who you hire for this branch because the other reviews tell a similar story.

Subway staff are rude and short with you while entering. I planned on buying a water or two for the road and using the bathroom. I’m an outdoor pest control technician, so drinks and bathrooms are a must have! When I walked into Subway, the first thing I asked the employee behind the counter was if they had a bathroom and I got told, “it’s for customers only” in a short unwelcome tone. She assumed I wasn’t a customer or “going to buy anything”. Regardless, your business owners/managers can’t be decent enough people to allow someone to use the bathroom first, let alone at all? Nah, you want money first. I asked how much a bottle of water was so I could pay quick; $3 for a basic bottle of water! The entire interaction from the employee was rude from the start so I didn’t bother buying anything, and I wasn’t allowed to use the bathroom because I didn’t want to waste my money supporting a business who hires rude employees and who’s owners/managers have poor moral values regarding their precious bathroom. Plus the water is overpriced...severely.I went to McDonalds down the road, used their bathroom, and after that I bought not only a drink, but a meal! I spent more at McDonalds than I would have at Subway. Nice! Subway, ya lost money being, non-customer friendly!Whether you’re a pest control technician like myself who works outdoors all day and rarely has access to a bathroom; a plumber, an electrician, anyone working on the road, go support a business where you’ll be able to use the bathroom and not be forced into paying for an overpriced subpar grinder and watered down fountain drink, first. Jersey Mikes is nearby and they’re much more friendly, and their grinders put this Subway to shame easily.

came in today no one was in the store except one worker. she was making her own food and refused to take me and my fiance. we bother were wearing full head masks and she refused to take our order. we went in with the same masks last time no one said anything and there was 2 of them. this is ridiculous. she wasnt even wearing the mask over her nose and yet she refused us. disrespectful and disgusting. wont ever come back to this one.
