I’ve been to this restaurant many times, but last night wasn’t a good experience. The server completely ignored our table and we very rude, he even said we couldn’t order a second round of appetizers, because we had to order entrees, o had to ask to talk to the manager, hate doing that, he saw our empty glasses, but never came to check if we wanted anything else, we had to call all the time. Very frustrating when you go out to relax and instead, you get stressed out.

The food is overall good, with a few misses. The fries with truffle aoli were my favorite, followed closely by the Italian cheesecake. The pasta was not very good and overall lacking in flavor. Perhaps the other dishes are the way to go. The free bread and hummus is delicious, but they only give you one piece and take it away very quickly if you don't request more right away.
The outdoor seating is very pleasant and has a great vibe. The service is overall good. I did not like the way their menu was formatted since none of the dishes have a name and it's just lots of descriptions which I thought made it hard to read, but that could also be personal preference.

Ummm amazing. Nothing short of amazing. I travel into the area for work a few times of the year and stay at Hotel Zero only - partially for the restaurant. The bar is well stocked and staffed - having some of my favorites not regularly stocked at other bars. Anytime I order food it’s always very well prepared. I tried the beggars purse for tue first time this trip and MAN! It was better than I thought it would be admittedly. I felt sort of guilty after for setting the bar low. Food wise: cauliflower, mussels, truffle fries, pizza (any of them), steak or beggars purse pasta are ALL great choices. Literally stopped eating to write this review… 10/10

Wow. I looked for a dog-friendly restaurant and I found one. They treated my dog like a VIP but I had no idea how great the food, service, and atmosphere would be. I knew I wanted to take at least half of my food home so I ordered a salad and a pasta dish. The house chopped salad was large and the balsamic dressing was light tasting but not sparse. I had them add the crispy goat cheese from another salad. So glad I did. It was perfect. The pasta - that was great. I got the cheese stuffed beggars purses with a mushroom cream sauce with truffle. It was fantastic but I did ask for salt and grated Parm which I got in about a minute. For some reason, this tasted so fresh. As much as I enjoyed the food, it did not compare to the service. I wish the entire team here, and I interacted with many who unobtrusively ensured I was happy, could train others about how to guarantee a great customer dining experience. On top of all that, I sat outside enjoying beautiful scenery. I wish I knew the names of the individuals that were so solicitous and friendly but I don't. Carla was my server and no one could have been a better server in any way. Yeah......I'll be back.

One of my fav restaurants in Danbury! Can I just say “BEGGARS PURSE PASTA!!!” I’ve hosted a group there, brought family and friends visiting and gone for date nights. Never been disappointed with the food and service.

When we first discovered this place we were really happy to find it because the food is great and we wondered why it’s not known as a local spot. Then we realized why. TWICE when we have tried to eat here, there was a sign on the door saying they were closed for a private event. So we just stopped trying. If they are going to do that they need to come up with a better system than a note on the door which you discover after you’ve already driven there. ?
It’s hard for me to describe how much I genuinely love this restaurant. Yes, the food and drinks are incredible, but what really makes this place special is the people. Coming from someone who drives thousands of miles a month across the entire northeast for work, I can sincerely tell you that you just don’t find this level of care and comfort everyday. The entire team is kind, attentive, and really takes the time to get to know you. After going to this restaurant for over a year now, I can say that I have made true friends in those who work there. I want to thank all of you for being there for me on the many nights I’ve been away from home traveling for work. In some ways, I feel that I have found another home in Terra due to your incredible hospitality. You are truly one of the best teams in this business I have had the pleasure to meet. Special thanks to Emily, Elio, Chrissy, Sam, Megan, and Pedro. This past weekend, I ventured into Terra, nestled within the chic Hotel Zero Degrees in Danbury, Connecticut ?✨. This gem of a hotel houses an exceptional, upscale restaurant that boasts an extensive menu that will satisfy any food lover’s palate ?️.Our appetizers set the bar pretty high. First up was the crispy buffalo cauliflower, adorned with micro celery and a decadent gorgonzola sour cream ?️?. The cauliflower struck the perfect balance - crispy without being overly fried, bursting with flavors that scored a delicious 9/10 on my scale. Next, we savored the gnocchi al forno, a heavenly blend of porcini mushroom cream, nduja (pork), and lemon breadcrumbs ??. The mushrooms effortlessly won my heart, earning an easy 10/10.For our mains, we explored the hidden fjord salmon, accompanied by heirloom beans, Brussels sprouts, and a rich porcini and tomato sugo ??. While the sauce had a slightly off note, the salmon itself was impeccably cooked, meriting a 7/10. The 12 oz. C.A.B. strip steak, served with duck fat potatoes, mixed mushrooms, and sherry vinegar, was a carnivore’s delight, perfectly medium-rare with a sauce that was nothing short of amazing ??. And let’s not forget the special - fish tacos that were so delightful, I believe they deserve a permanent spot on the menu ?? 9/10.Dessert was a sweet finale with their strawberry shortcake in a cup and a luxurious chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream ???.
