Steaks were OK, side dishes not so much. The grean beens were swimming in sugary water with bacon bits, and the texture was like they were just scooped out from a can. Will not have that again. My husband liked the fact that you had the option of picking out your own steak from a glass showcase. Wait time was over an hour at 6PM on a Saturday, just FYI.

If you leave Texas Roadhouse hungry, that’s on you. Because this place does not mess around. I ordered the beef tips, and wow—tender, flavorful, and swimming in savory goodness. The kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and say, “Alright… this was the right decision.” But let’s talk about the real superstar: those legendary rolls. Warm, fluffy clouds of happiness with that cinnamon butter that should probably come with a warning label. I told myself I’d only have one… then suddenly three had disappeared. I’m not saying they’re addictive, but I’m also not saying they’re not. Great food, lively atmosphere, and the kind of meal that makes you loosen your belt a notch and leave smiling. Danbury definitely scored a win with this location.

Ate there Friday night 2/27/26. One of the few times their prime rib (which was supposed to be medium) was dry and not seasoned well. Whoever the cook was on that day after 7pm should get retrained on how to cook a proper steak.

Usually I go to the New Haven Texas Roadhouse and love it, but this location was a really bad experience. My girlfriend and I both got the 6 oz sirloin—one came out cold, the other wasn’t medium like we asked and was super chewy. We had to send one back.
The ribs also tasted off, and overall the food was cold and not very good. On top of that, someone got sick on the floor while we were there, which completely ruined our appetite.
Really disappointing compared to what I’m used to.
