I went to the Danbury Cheesecake Factory for the first time last night and was pretty disappointed. The food was still pretty good because its cheese cake factory. However, in comparison to cheesecake factory’s other locations this one did not hit the mark. I was intentionally served bread that was so stale it could’ve broken my tooth. We told the waitress about the bread and she was very kind and brought out a new loaf. We ordered the fried cheese, mac and cheese balls and sliders. The food didn’t look appetizing. The pictures are the White plains Cheesecake Factory mac and cheese balls vs the Danbury. You can very clearly tell which one looks more appetizing.

The food was really good and everything came fast. Waiters/waitresses were passionate about their job. Great for anyone with dietary restrictions, a book of options for everyone.

HONESTLY, our experience at Cheesecake Factory was extremely disappointing. My waiter was Jonathan. The restaurant was clearly very busy when we arrived, but we felt overlooked, and the service did not match the prices.

I was very specific about my oldest not having cheese or sour cream and asking for it on the side, but it was not done correctly. Her taco salad was also completely wrong. Server Jonathan confirmed it would come in a taco shell as advertised on the menu, but it arrived on a plate with long strips of taco chips and wilted lettuce and chopped tomatoes. This added to the frustration of the meal.

My youngest ordered from the children’s menu, wanting the mini cheeseburgers. Jonathan said the burgers did not have cheese, even though the menu clearly advertised that they did. He charged extra for that cheese on her burger, and the burgers came out extremely red. My daughter was so turned off she refused to eat.

My husband ordered the rigatoni diavolo, but his dish arrived with a mix of spaghetti and bowtie pasta and the portion was small for $28.00. Ridiculous.

My burger was good and did not have cheese as requested. When I asked Jonathan for cheese, he said he would take it to the back. I refused, and he brought me a cold slice of cheese, which could not be melted. I still ate half of my burger. He also forgot my side of avocado and acted as if none of the previous issues mattered. On top of that, he charged me extra cheese on my daughter’s children’s burger, which is beyond absurd.

To make matters worse, there was an American tall male manager present at this location who spent the time leaning on a wall/shelf, talking to a female server, and drinking espresso instead of walking the floor, greeting guests, and checking on tables. He did not interact with any customers or ask if anyone needed assistance.

We decided not to order dessert because of this incident. HONESTLY, we will never go there again.

UPDATE:
It appears that management chooses to acknowledge only glowing praise while conveniently ignoring legitimate concerns raised by other customers. That approach speaks volumes. Accountability should not be selective. I will be sure to inform my friends and family to avoid this establishment, as customer feedback should be valued in its entirety, not only when it is favorable.

My last two experiences were horrible. Sorry but not sorry wont be eating there again. The booth walls are filthy and their servers and waitresses seem to be on the internet. Bad vibes and they must not clean the griddle/stove. Made me sick. Disappointed compared to the first couple times I have been there.

Wish we could have stayed, so many seating options but we were given two options which weren’t comfortable, one spot in the sun or very closely next to an other patron where she had her bags in our offered booth spot. The hostess couldn’t come up with any other options so we left and ate at Tomo 202, and Tomo had fabulous food! Thanks for the chance Cheesecake Factory but Maybe next time.

This review is specifically for their Brunch. I've had alot of pancakes in my life, but the cinnamon swirl pancakes I had from this Cheesecake Factory location this particular time was one of the best pancakes I've ever had. EVER.

I went to a different cheesecake factory location a week later and got the same pancakes. It was good, but not as good as the ones I had at this Danbury location.

Just perfectly made. 👌🏽

I got take out and had hair baked into my mac and cheese bites, very disgusted. I am very dissatisfied and grossed out. This used to be one of my go to spots, not anymore.

Just left this location and I’ve got to say, Chris the bartender was great! Had the crab dip and some cocktails and it was the best service I’ve had in a while. Thank you, Chris! We will be back!

Even though it was a busy night, the service was on point!
Our drinks, appetizers, entrées, and dessert were all brought to the table expeditiously. Our server, Alma was very attentive to our table.
And the food did not disappoint, everything was excellent!

I was in mood for a chop Cobb salad. This is my first time at this particular cheesecake factory. The server came by quickly. He was very friendly. Really great vibe. I came with my baby. They place me where my stroller wouldn't be in the way and I appreciated it. However, I gave it three stars because the salad was not good at all, the lettuce was old. I've had way better at other cheesecake factories. I also ordered the pineapple upside down cheesecake which also wasn't as good as it normally is. It's like the pineapple chunks in there were hard. I don't know if it was an off day as I just moved to this area and this is the nearest cheesecake factory to me so I'll try it again. I'll post another update when I go back.

Cheesecake factory is a good place to have a nice meal however I rate the atmosphere just 2 stars because the music is excessively loud. The music selection is nice but the volume is too loud. You. Have to scream to talk with your family and to talk with the waiters. It would be nice to have that music a little bit softer so the atmosphere can be more relaxed. The high volume makes everyone to talk loud so is uncomfortable to communicate.

I am beyond disappointed with the service that I received tonight. The lady working behind the bar with Kevin P gave me the nastiest attitude when I was trying to order a tequila sunrise on November, Sunday the 23rd. I was waiting for my server to come back so I could order my drink, but she wasn’t there so I went to the bar to order a drink. I asked for a mock tail and I made it clear that I was not 21 and I was not sitting at the bar and she was judging me for ordering it a tequila sunrise, a mocktail version which I thought was really unprofessional and she overcharged me for what it should be. She continued to have negative discourse with her coworker Kevin, judging my order, which I thought was also disrespectful. Please reconsider your staff, this was unprofessional. Will not come again to be disrespected for wanting to order a drink.
