Stumbled upon this gem when the place we originally chose was closed. We expected a quaint little diner with decent food. What we discovered was an amazing pub with the best pub style food I've had in a long time. I ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich with onion rings. The steak was tender and delicious and those onion rings were practically a religious experience. My mother ordered a NY Stip steak sandwich, which we expected would be chopped steak. Nope it was an entire steak in the bun. Now, you would think "NY strip on a bun, that's going to be hard to bite and chew." You would be wrong. It was so tender and delicious. My daughter who is just about the luckiest 9 year old ordered chicken fingers (a kids staple) and she ate every single one (except for the half of one I tried, which was very good). The waitress we had was so great. She helped my mom (who is not a craft beer drinker) pick a beer and gave her a sample to try.I can't recommend this place enough. It was wonderful.

I was in the area, and I had a bacon cheese burger and fries, a beer, and for dessert a hot apple crisp a la mode. The food was served hot with no wait. The server was friendly and made sure everything was ok! "I'll be back"!!!

If I could give zero, I would. We had lunch here and one of the staff members dropped a plate of hot chili on my 1.5 year old daughter’s head. Luckily, she was not burned but their plates are very heavy and my daughter was very upset, to the point of hyperventilation. The staff member did not apologize, but instead ran away and never returned to our table. They ended up taking $7 off our bill. Our waitress said she was only AUTHORIZED to take the cheapest thing off the bill. This person who “authorized” the refund didn’t even come over to our table. I didn’t end up eating my meal because I was sick to my stomach and had to hold my crying child for the rest of our stay. What a disgrace! I will never return.EDIT TO UPDATE: I never do this, but after the owner’s reply, I want to expand on my original review. I never said any chili got on her. The reason I mentioned chili is because it was in a very heavy crock. The plate and crock slid and hit my daughter in the head. BY THE OWNER. I was trying to comfort my crying child, while the staff member/owner said nothing. My mother who was at the table with us said “that was stupid” [of her to hold a plate of hot food over a child’s head]. There was no yelling. It could have been a lot worse and we were fortunate it was not. I was a waitress once before and I have made mistakes, too, but the difference between me and this OWNER, is that I apologized. She hurt a child and ran and hid like a coward. And then made the decision that her mistake was not worth an apology; only $7. Her response to my review speaks volumes of her character and I am utterly disgusted.

I am the grandmother of the child which you dropped a Very heavy plate on her head. I want to clarify a few things, because obviously with your comment you don't see what you did wrong. First, you brought over on a very heavy plate a crock of chili with a bowl of chips on the plate in one hand in the other hand was another heavy plate with a meal. You proceeded to stand above my granddaughter to pass the meal to someone above her head. You could not handle the heaviness and the plate started dropping from your hand and the heavy plate landed up hitting her on the side of her head and ear. You stumbled around not saying anything. No OMG I'm so sorry is she ok. After a few a brief moment i didn't yell but said to you that i wanted to give you a piece of advise to Never Ever hold a plate over a child's head to pass another plate to another. I did not yell i was stern and angry with the lack of compassion. You high tailed it out of there and never returned. Your two other waitresses were awesome and came over asking if she was ok or got burned. You had no idea at that point if any chili fell on her. The waitress asked several times if she was ok throughout our stay. My granddaughter was so distraught and traumatized by this she would not return to her highchair in fear she would be hurt again. To find out that you are the owner, is to say at the least, a disappointment. Even the waitress was embarrassed by your $7 dollar gesture. She ssid she wished she could do more but was only authorized to waive the $7 charge for my granddaughters meal. To know that you are the owner You should have known better then to pass meals over someone's head. Everyone makes mistakes, but its how you correct them that speaks volumes. You should have show remorse immediately and apologized. Even if you feel you were yelled at, as the owner and culprit of the incident you lead the response on how to treat customers. Not hide in anger. We did not need our meals paid for but did need to feel like you cared about YOUR actions. How would you feel if it was your granddaughter? Good day!

Had a great dinner. Always Nice ambiance with local music playing and karaoke later on. Definitely a fun place to be and iconic local spot. Great food!

Kid-friendliness: Has a bar but is separate from the eating area. Definitely kid friendly

Parking: Parking looks a little tricky because there's usually a lot of cars there, but you can park around the side easily and it's all free parking
